- And we are back with a 3rd vlog this year! We cook some Shish Tawook (popular chicken wrap sandwiches here in this side of the world), go to a photoshoot, discuss beauty favorites and end with a little spiritual reminder as we enter Ramadan. I think I should record the reminder for Instagram as well in a shorter format! What do you think?

My only daughter was born early and passed after a day. My 2 pregnancies came with a lot of fear, i still found it hard to enjoy knowing it can be taken away. Allah is the best of planners alhamdoullilah for my 3 boys and my daughter is in djennah alhamdoullilah. May Allah bless you with a healthy full term baby ❤

The way you described that your child is just your world is exactly what the woman I co-teach with says all time. She has two daughters (aged 10 and 14) and she is totally content being their mother and nothing else. She said she doesn't care about another accomplishments, they are her world. You two have the same mentality and it's so wholesome and sweet. I'm child-free (always have been and always will be) but it always warms my hear to see such awesome parents in the world. Mashallah

I’ve really, really struggled with my clinical depression and anxiety for the last couple of months, to the point where it has severely affected my physical health. Even though you’re talking about postpartum depression, I needed to hear your message. Because sometimes it feels like I’ll never get better, and that is unimaginable.
I've been rock bottom with it twice. It does seem like a darkness with no end to it but... that pain is just as temporary as the world that caused it - so...there is light coming, inshallah

Okay I’m so curious about this chicken recipe! For the folks in USA Trader Joe’s sells the garlic sauce!
Thank you for addressing postpartum depression ❤️ it’s so wild for a lack of better word.
If you don’t have it then 12 garlic cloves, ½ cup oil, pinch of salt, 1 juiced lemon : in a blender combine the garlic cloves and just enough oil to cover the cloves. Blend on high to puree the garlic and oil. Add in the lemon juice and salt then with the blender running stream in the rest of the oil to emulsify the sauce and bring everything together. The sauce should be thick and creamy. ❤

I have listened to your conversation during the Ab talks (or something like that) so I find you and your husband, like sincere muslims. Having said that, I must tell you that you are beautiful, your family is beautiful, you have a beautiful house, a beautiful car, a beautiful life mashaAllah but people did not see your struggles and ypur prayers so believe me or not, I am genuinely concerned about your life in the future... The prophet Muhammed said : العين حق. It means "the evil eye is a reality". Morever, weither you believe it or not, we can do this to ourselves too if we don't say mashaAllah. So imagine other people. Do you think everyone is going to say mashaAllah? Moreover, even if people struggle to accept that it is your risq so they have to be happy for you, just the thing that it can make someone who struggle to have husband, kid house, life or everything all at one and could not have it, it will make their life sad and pathetic. So for you, for them, for your deen (because it can be like a show off and it lead to ostentation) please consider this nassiha in your head, your mind, your heart and protect your heart, your life, your husband, your family by keeping what should be private, private. May Allah helps you, and all of us, ameen.

I missed how to make the garlic sauce?
12 garlic cloves, ½ cup oil, pinch of salt, 1 juiced lemon : in a blender combine the garlic cloves and just enough oil to cover the cloves. Blend on high to puree the garlic and oil. Add in the lemon juice and salt then with the blender running stream in the rest of the oil to emulsify the sauce and bring everything together. The sauce should be thick and creamy.

But you wearing foundation and concealer or just foundation or just concealer but you do have makeup
Only tinted moisturizer that I put on with my fingers like a face cream
I don’t use concealer and very rarely use foundation- only for special occasions
