I think the genre videos are really interesting and highlight your skill as a producer to identify different elements of production style beyond rap and hip hop. Yo this channel is really fire.
As someone who has been following the future funk scene from the very beginning: god damn this track is spot on. You make it look so easy, AND you mostly use default and/or free plugins to do it. It's so easy to dig yourself into a "what's the best plugin for this" hole when doing research on music production. Feels great to see somebody absolutely KILL it with the stuff most beginner producers already have.
I dig Future Funk, and Vaporwave and spin them both, but my heart lies with the original songs those producers sample. City Pop and 80's Boogie/Post-Disco, etc is just so amazing all on its own. Wish more fans of these two genres took some time to dig around the original discographies too.
Dude the synthwave and now this, your actually an amazing person. I love Future Funk. Favorite song from Macross and Yung Bae would be "YEBISU - Yung Bae Edit"
@@PraxiPlays same here in Indian people especially my friends said this song strange but for me I love japanese FUNK and I don't listen Punjabi song..everyone have a different choice and love it tutorial from India🇮🇳
This is sooo good. Just like aces to aces video but in more detail! Praxi is becoming a big influence in my eyes for sure! Keep it up ❤ Another recommendation is maybe a How to Tyler the Creator? Saw that his See You Again song made it on the radio so it would be cool if you could whip up something!?
FINALLY i got a notification, this is like milestone in youtube history, FeelsGoodMan. Also, praxi, ur at like 130k, i remember like when you were at 1k, and you got more views then you had subs man, glad u moving up. Also is it just me or is there like, way too many subgenres in music rn (edm espicially). Like i feel like classifying a song under a certain subgenre overall hurts the song. Like when you see a song labeled under "Future Funk", if you like future funk sure you'll click on it, but if your like me and never heard of "Future Funk" and think anything with the work "funk" in it is some weird hippie trash i'll probably won't like, ya won't click on it. Like if you look at monstercat recently (like almost a year ago but whatever) they went over a total rebranding, removing all genres/subgenres tags from their songs, and just splitting it into 2 channels, one for the heavier stuff and one for the more melodic chill songs. I don't know if this makes anysense, but 10:42 pm where i am so don't blame me :)
Yeah I’ve noticed that people really cling on to sub genres in edm, kinda similar to the kids back in the rock days. Like there were people that liked rock n roll, punk, metal, metal core etc.. And I feel like Hip hop doesn’t have enough sub genres lmao
Yeah this is my favorite genre Do you think you *have* to use samples for it to be real Future Funk? Or can you just do your own thing? Amazing video btw! This will be helpful in the future

The fact that you used a 2018 song and transformed it into a 80's sound is incredible. 👏🔥
@minguba Naw, 2018 song, turned 80's song then turned back into a 2018 song.
It was impressive but the original already had an 80s sound...
It's not an 80s sound btw, It's a mid 90s nostalgic dafr punk style from their interstella 3000 (or smthing like this) album
2018 song made to sound like an 80s song turned into a 2011 song.
