Love watching a disc fly! The competitions are entertaining, but this is what disc golf is to me. Spending time with friends and enjoying the game.

That was the spirit of the game back in the early days... sure there were competitions that came around, but the joy was just hanging with friends and making memories. :D It is still a big part of it now, but I think there is a drive to score and compete that can cause us all to miss out on some of the love. Thanks for watching and the comment.

This course got me back into disc golf (and thus introduced me to your channel as well) as I live about a mile away! I play it at least once a week! Really appreciate Lavone and everything he does for the disc golf community!

Fun video. Thoughts on the course; back nine is fine, front nine needs some work. Too many wide open holes and that par 3 island hole needs a bigger island.

I know Lavone said that he is planning on planting a lot of trees to add more structure to the course... I think his first goal is to plant around 40 trees which will make a big difference on those wide open holes. I would agree with you about the island as I missed it twice! :D Actually, I would want to play that hole a few more times to see what I think about the size. If it tends to be windy out there, I could definitely see expanding it. Thanks!
