      it's really like any other stroke, it's gonna be easier for some and harder for others but it can be a successful shot for anyone who wants to put in the work. I don't necessarily recommend it for everyone to be their main go to putt, But if it's something that folks feel comfortable with, it will save them strokes when things get tight in the woods :-) thanks so much for the comment

    Understanding angle control and how to utilize the natural flip of the disk in order to shape shots is core to having a good overall game. Drive, Approach, Putt. I never realized how important the approach really is. Played a tourney last weekend...and can single out 4 different shots where this applied and led directly to missed birdie opportunities. It's one thing to miss putts, but 4 strokes in the mid game could be the difference between winning and missing cash.

    • @ogdiscgolfer
      @ogdiscgolfer 35 хвилин тому

      That's exactly what I'm talking about! Because I've done the exact same thing. Those approach shots can make or break a round and our spirits so many times. We know how important putting is but we tend to overlook the approach. I can totally feel the pain of those for missed approaches. Thanks so much for taking time to comment.

    i would say putting before approach, but i have a solid approach shot, most people miss too many putts inside 25 vs anything else. stay in bounds and and sink all putts inside 25, you are doing well! great video none the less!

    • @ogdiscgolfer
      @ogdiscgolfer 6 днів тому

      oh I totally agree that putting is probably the key factor to really scoring well. But I also think so many people have a mental hangup about putting and struggle with it. I think working on their approach shot game can be a faster easier thing to tuneup to get a couple extra strokes taken off your score while you're working on your putting :-)

      thanks... I will try to remember to do that. If you like the flight of the Spore and hoped for a less floppy plastic, the folks at PowerGrip just released a Lux Vapor version. It's still a little on the flexy side compared with the Glitch and Pitch, but it'll hold up better on a forehand than the Neo Soft model. In either plastic I feel like it flies more similar to the Glitch than the numbers would suggest.

      Thanks for that insight... let's face it... I have way too many discs already and I am really waiting for the two new Glyphs (hopefully Birdies in sweet plastic), I almost need start a wish list and then figure out a way to not have to go to my regular job, just to try out all the discs I want. :D I also keep telling myself and my wife... it is just one more disc... but then I start to add up all the total I spend in a month and I think I have a problem. :D thanks for watching!
