What a great video. Straight to the point with very useful information. Thank you! My rose has the upper root ball with basically no stems right now. I'm using every bit of information in this video and hoping for the best!

What a great video. Thanks for uploading. May I ask what the best composition / type of soil is and what mulch covering you would recommend? Pea-straw ok?

Hi. I received two of these from your company today. I have temporarily planted them in a container and watered them well, without first doing any pruning or hydrating. I am planning to plant the two roses out in the garden in a week or two. Should I get the plants out of the container tomorrow and hydrate and prune them as you showed in this video then replant them in the container until I can plant them next week? If you happen to read this in time, please advise. Many thanks.

Can I put bone meal in the hole when first planting or just wait for the recommended time to pass and fertilize?
I usually also use Rooting hormone on my plants when putting them in ground. Thanks!

You could use bone meal in your soil preparation leading up to planting, however we would suggest not to add it to the hole directly when planting.

When I was putting my rose in the ground today out of the bucket. Most of the root ball broke of, I was easy with it, but I would say half of it was gone. I water the hole before and again once the rose was in the ground with horse manour packing the hole. Is there any thing I can give it to increase roots??? Do you put wax on the parts you have cut???

It's hard to comment without seeing your plant. Quite often a rose will callus over where there has been a cut or scrape. There is a product called MycoGold which is a complete balanced mycorrhiza blend including endomycorrhiza, ectomycorrhiza, trichoderma and beneficial bacteria to increase plant compatibility and boost production. This product will increase the root production of your rose plant and encourage better growth.

It will depend on the packaging. Each supplier is different. We package ours to survive up to 3 weeks in transit. I recommend contacting your supplier for more details.
