Poz (2018) | Incredible Documentary on Living with HIV | (Subbed)

This film follows Loïc, a young Frenchman living in London who has just learned of his positive HIV status. In his fight against the virus, his own prejudices and social stigma, we finally see him fully invest in his new existence. Loïc, 26 years old, sought refuge in London, far from his humble village beginnings. He is able to live his gay life with anonymity amongst the cosmopolitan backdrop of London, away from scrutiny and perplexed glances. He’s stopped in his tracks by terrible news; he contracted HIV. It’s the shock. AIDS, we know the name, but in 2018 Gen Y are not scared of it anymore. Until it happens to you. This film delves intimately into Loïc’s life just as it takes a dramatic turn.

Great documentary but I wish they gave at least an update on how the talk went with his parents. There was a build up to this big event with no conclusion/closure in regards to his parents

At least you don't have to go through what your piers had to experience, many failed treatments and the passing of many, that was really scary. Times changed, a few pills that keep you virus free is not the end of the world. Take care. Hugs. Amicallement votre.
