- This is a video I made of a boy on a bike cutting right in front of Amtrak Train the Silver Star in Plant City Florida. If he fell the train would have killed him instantly. He did not care.
Yes, My heart jumped when he came out of no where and the engineer raised his horn loud because of him and he didn't even care. Parents did a fine job raising that kid.

Why would pepole do that if CSX came it would be slow

One note to say. Kids, do NOT run in front of Amtrak/CSX/Marc trains while they are in Motion. It's VERY Dangerous!

1:04 That clown on the bicycle couldn't wait just a few seconds for that commuter train to pass & commuter trains aren't long like a lot of freight trains. Smh. If there would've been a police officer there on the other side of the tracks, that knucklehead would've been in trouble.

I have sat there and watched people climb under trains, just waiting for a green signal. If that train started moving, it would have been lights out! My one friend even watched a person climb under a train that was getting ready to depart, with there lawn mower in tow.

The train wouldn''t have been able to stop, as I am guessing you know. Nor would it have made much difference to the speed of the train. It could, however, damage the train (flat wheels) and cause delays. And, as we saw, the twit just cycled on. Approaching the crossing on the train, at that speed, how much vision of the road either side the engineer had I don't know. And a cyclist would be harder to see.

There is no requirement for them to stop in situations like that of the video, only that they report the incident over the radio and prepare a written statement when they get the opportunity.
If he always does that, maybe you should call the cops to guard the crossing when a train goes by.
What I thought was pretty funny is that my birth day was the day after this video.

True but i thought the train would actually stop after that close call to report the guy but it just kept going. Usually trains would stop with close calls like that.

A guy on a bike was struck and kiled by the Silver Meteor in Clay County, south of Jacksonville recently. 6 hours later the train was still stuck at the accident scene. Delayed freight and passenger traffic all over Florida.

Wow he couldn't wait 5 seconds?! One time I saw these kids run infront of the freight train (it looked like it was going 40MPH) and I thought I heard the horn afterwards (it was a no horn zone)
Now at times that train passed slowly (my conspiracy theroy is because of these idiots.)
