I know that I normaly don´t upload these kinds of mvs but I recently watched this movie for a school asigment and also decided to make a music video out the movie and its theme song. I also want to raise awareness to end sexual violence and discrimination.
Clips are taken from the movie Boys Don´t Cry (1999) which is a movie based on life and death of Brandon Teena (Teena Brandon) (1972 - 1993).

Feel so awful not just for Teena and Phillip but Lisa. She was someone's mother and her baby had to see all that. Such a tragedy.

I always think we let Brandon down. Trans rights haven't progressed much and we still need to accept the fact that he died because he was born a girl
He didn't die because he was assigned female at birth. He was murdered outright. The intention is important to remember.
I have to agree because I felt it was wrong and I still don’t know why or how but 1 thing I do know is that you should never be ashamed to be yourself that’s what this movie is about and what Brandon Teena would wanted to do and share
It was a tragedy but let's be fair she didn't live a respectful life forgery of people's checks and going around kissing and sleeping with straight women claiming to be a man it wasn't a hate crime it was vengeance the reason they done it but that isn't a reason for what they did she didn't deserve it ❤

Such a sad movie. I was brought up left and life made me right but I still see the bullsh*t on both sides. People should be allowed to express themselves. I used to bash trans but as I get older and see some people just trying to make a place for themselves and not a name. My heart goes out to anyone who is just looking for happiness. People change as we learn. Not everyone is hateful. I'd rather people be happy and comfortable in their own skin than anything else. There's too much anger and hate set on peoples differences but deep down we all just want to be part of something. The something should just be understanding.. but what do I know... I'm just a dumb dockworker.
Agreed I’m still trying to figure out how to help those who have been struggling trying to be themselves and that was the message in this. Brandon’s story was a true Hate Crime and the fact that his friends befriended him and when they found out they beat him and raped him and then killed him. I hope those 2 “friends” are still in prison and hopefully the world will become a better place for all

yeah I'd like to comment on this movie because this is a really really hard reality that they're just crazy but you know what nobody has a right to kill anybody the way this person was savagely killed that don't feel good with my stomach and it just it just doesn't right cuz we all have a right to be who we want to be and regardless of this person's gender or sexual orientation nobody should ever have to go through that but this is a really really good movie and it's inspiring to just want people to just stand on that limb and say I want to be who I want to be and not be judged by the cover of what it appears but excellent job man on the format of this movie and the story of this poor individual
