  • If your car suddenly starts to feel a bit loose, bouncy or vibrates in a weird way, then it could very well be a shock absorber that has given up. If there is no obvious oil leak from any of the shock absorbers, then one can manually push the car down and if one corner bounces up quicker than the others, then you have identified the defect shock absorber.
Other than buying a pair of new shock absorbers there might be some other parts needed too. The Audi A2 typically needs a set of new bump stops and dust covers. It is good to also buy a set of wheel arch liner attachment clips and nuts, since the later tends to corrode away.

Very profesional excellent guide, such a shame you sold it. You should get another one and this time get diesel. I know 2 people who did 800.000km with standard 75hp 1.4 tdi engine
