Not bad, just focus on articulation and getting the non "slurred" notes to have more front and ping to the note as to better distinguish a difference from the legato passages and non legato ones
Overall, you shouldn't be taking the etudes at tempo just yet. Take time to learn the music slowly and correctly a good example of this would be some of the 16th note runs. They are a couple notes that are also not being played to their full value, Like the dotted halfnote tied to an 8th note C in measures 2 and 3. Also make sure you're articulating firmly for every single non-slured note as they aren't as clear as they should be. Overall really good for just a month with the music, keep it up!! 😁
I just thought if I get used to playing it at tempo now, I’ll have more time to really make it better without worrying about tempo. Also, I had a football game that same day so I wanted to save my chops. Thank you so much for your feedback!!!!!!
Honestly i get the logic behind going tempo early, but it's better to work on mistakes at a slower tempo. Also no problem, I'm always happy to help 😁 Honestly you're doing really good for just your freshman year, keep up the work!
I didn’t focus on dynamics too much, I’ll add them in later
You sound so much better than your first video (not even kidding) good job 👏 👏
