The look of betrayal and anger in Tonys face alone is grade A acting
Did you know?
He didn’t know it was “N”.
@@dropkickirish4449 what 🙄?
@@dropkickirish4449 what's N?
Amger
"There's a bit of green in the blue of your eyes"
I love that line so much.
So he was referring to like Rogers was like Hulk?
@@Radoslaw731no, just that captain isn't perfect after all
@@Radoslaw731 even though hulk and cap come from the same super solider program no I don't think thats what he's talking about.
Captain AMerica. Blonde Hair Blue eyes. Hitler's race.
Wow. I would use this phrase from now on replacing "i wanna put some dirt in your eye".@@un_tip_obisnuit
The only person that deserves blame here is Steve. He knew the truth since Captain America: The Winter Soldier and kept it from Tony. That pushed him over the edge.
His brother from over 50 years ago was brainwashed into killing people against his will.
Now go on and tell the IRS about the money your family doesn't file....go on...I'll wait....
@@CB394 how did Tony not find out about this earlier tho if Black Widow leaked everything to the world? Why didn’t the avengers review all of it during Age of Ultron? Shouldn’t Tony have the resources and intelligence to access to all that stuff how did he not see this earlier about how Bucky killed his parents??
couldnt he have easily found out tho once hydra was exposed and the leaks were out?@@CB394
@@CB394you think Steve wouldn’t have guessed that it was Bucky. The winter soldier was literally Hydra’s Hitman
@@CB394 or how ABOUT, I just keep TYPING some BIG words to illustrate MY POINT 😃😃
I’ve always believed Cap not being honest with Tony about his parents was one of the reasons he didn’t pick up mjolnir in Ultron
That's a good theory but cap can be seen slightly lifting mjolnir in age of Ultron
No he has been worthy he just doesn't wanna make Thor look bad nor rule Asgard. Also if you watched the whole movie you would see things more clearly
@@JGame300i miss when him slightly lifting it had people so confused and people where saying Steve is almost worthy or half worthy or something
Sometime the truth need to hide
Nah, it can't be that. Otherwise Odin himself wouldn't be able to lift Mjolnir because he wasn't honest with Loki about his origins in the first movie.
From the beginning, Steve and Tony's relationship was like leaking oil, and this moment was the last drop needed to ignite a fire.
🙄
@@dropkickirish4449......?
real. stop being gay using that emoji 💀
Hmmmm. Sounds like a car guy's explanation. Noice
I'm glad I got to experience this part of the MCU. Seeing these two's relationship build up and eventually crumble was a sight to see
Stark shouldn't be blamed here, and neither should Barnes, too.
So, for Stark, they've known for 4 years now. Yet when he found out within those 4 years that Rogers also found out when he woke up that his own best friend took out Stark's parents, he felt betrayed.
As for Barnes, he never knew what he was doing, either, since he was brainwashed and did what he was told without asking questions.
@a.rtomboy6202then tony should kiss him and forgive? Tf
That man is playing Galaga... He not deserve it
@a.rtomboy6202Buhuuuuuu
@a.rtomboy6202that's not the problem. What Tony sees is his mom being murdered by a guy. Yes his mom and dad aren't Buckys first victims, but at the moment anyone who'd be in his shoes would do the same
Steve never knew it was Bucky in specific that killed Tony’s parents. He knew it was Hydra but not Bucky!
Rage. Inconsolable and most justified rage. I would have done the same thing. And so would Bruce Wayne, even if it was Clark that kept that secret from him.
@ier4g6 I wonder if there’s ever been a storyline between them
Imagine what Bruce Banner would have done?
@@GeorgioArmoni Oh dear Lord, please don’t go there, Dr Banner would be probably cause a nuclear response if he was in Stark’s position
@@GeorgioArmoni He was in that position in a comic: World war Hulk
Or if it was Barry and Oliver knew it was Wells/Thawne that killed his mum
Tony really can't be blamed for reacting the way he did. Anybody in his position would feel unimaginable levels of betrayal, and no one really knows how they'd react to that until it happened.
3:40 what a great bit of acting tho, for real
Sheer sadness in Cap's eyes and face is amazing when he tries to stop Tony. You can hear it in his trembling voice.
I miss Cap and Tony 3000. Imo, this film is one of the films that changed the MCU forever. Not in a weird or criticizing way
Tony was all cool with fun and games. This must be the most angry he got in the whole franchise.
Tony not only found out that how his parents died had been a lie, but they were brutally murdered by the Winter Soldier standing 5 feet away AND Cap knew but never told him. That is a lot to process and I can't blame him for wanting to end Bucky.
'' I'm disappointed. Not because you didn't find it, but because you did and you lied.'' - Thanos
to think steve knows from the start, since winter soldier movie. this fight could never happened if he told tony from the get go and let his anger and anguish simmer down. he could have explain and let tony digest that information. Tony stark has a big heart, he need to mourn for a bit before settling in mind that he can help steve retrieving bucky. we know tony would forgive bucky as he did to others. especially how he forgive steve and the other avengers who fought with him in that ending stone retrieval,. despite the other haven't ask an apology in return.
its just sad that this could had been prevented.
@yessimdisgudying5994 how did Tony not find out about this earlier tho if Black Widow leaked everything to the world a couple years earlier? Knowing that Tony’s parents were associated with Hydra, wouldn’t that information about Bucky killing his parents have been leaked too? Wouldn’t Tony want to/had already read the leaks and what it revealed about his parents?? Why didn’t the avengers review all of it during Age of Ultron? Shouldn’t Tony have the resources and intelligence to access to all that stuff how did he not see this earlier about how Bucky killed his parents??
@@Seasonal-Shadow_4674shield, not even shield, the organization/council working with shield probably/ more than likely tried deleting or shielding most of the information. Since there are Hydra in the government body, it makes sense that Zemo got this data/video.
This probably still would’ve happened at some point down the line. Steve says “alright bro don’t freak out but HYDRA clipped your parents”, Tony says “damn that sucks but okay”, but then later comes the revelation that HYDRA sent this dude’s bestest buddy to clip your parents. Even if he was brainwashed I just watched a clip of this guy punching my mom’s face in. I’m going to feel some type of way about it, that’s all there is to it.
There’s a lot of ways to justify it, but in that wrinkle in time, there’s footage of your mom getting executed and there’s the guy that did it just standing there. The urge to beat the shit out of that guy is human af.
Forgive? I doubt it.
kinda felt bad for bucky coz like yk hydra was controlling his mind and i don’t blame tony for wanting to fight him but it wasn’t his fault 😭
If I was with him, I wouldn’t blame him, either.
@spiderystranger
Blame Cap for being the shitiest friend known to man.
Yeah, it’s a lose, lose situation. Both sides were justified in their fight. Obviously Tony should try to avenge his parents. But Bucky wasn’t in control and doesn’t deserve to die for his crimes.
@@Solomoncaesar, true that, it was Hydra (Zemo) who controlled his mind.
How was cap a bad friend? I didn't see the film
If you look real closely or pause at the right time when Tony’s about to engage at Bucky 3:36, you can see a tear in Bucky’s eye. Bucky clearly at this point has tremendous guilt for killing Tony’s parents, including Howard who knew both Steve and Bucky, even though he was brainwashed by HYDRA. Poor Bucky. 😢
You are one perceptive nigga. Very well spotted.
Also Cap was teary eyed in this 3:50
The fact that he caught cap lying straight to his face was even worse
Howard’s relationship with Bucky is very underrated when you think about it, they both didn’t know each other for that long and most of us assumed that Howard only knew Bucky as “Captain’s best friend”, however the fact that Howards still recognizes him immediately after nearly 50 years after the war ended and didn’t forget him even after he was supposedly “dead” since the 1940s tells us a lot of about Howard.
What's great about this twist is that this was set up since Winter Soldier. It didn't come off as a last minute twist. It works and deepens the conflict between Steve and Tony. To this day I think this scene is MCU at it's best. There are no crappy and forced humour. It works perfectly. I am not really keeping up with MCU these days (got over it after No way home) but I hope they bring the writers and directors of this movie back because they know characterization.
0:24 look how fast Captain America
"I didn't know it was him". The audacity to lie at his face even when confronted.
He didn't lied to him 😏 He actually didn't knew they were killed by the Winter Soldier. He only got to knew Hydra killed Tony stark when he met Zola during the Captian America The Winter Soldier movie. Steve was not lying he seriously didn't knew it was Bucky who killed Tony's parents.
tears falling and ive seen this clip so many times... i miss good mcu
You can see how tony couldn’t bare seeing his dad being punched to death by bucky, he closed his eyes at 3:00
3:34 CAPTAIN: Oh man. This is not going to be good.
I may have been on Steve’s side during the movie but in this scene I’m on Tony’s side, he was right to be angry and vengeful and wanted to kill Bucky and was angry at Steve for keeping this a secret from him.
This movie was RDJs best performance in the entire MCU. Every feeling and thought so visible in his face.
2:45 that’s when he remembered but he couldn’t fight his programming. Not both Tony and Bucky have to live with that pain forever
Um… You know Tony’s also dead, right?
I think it's worth remembering that Tony's not just angry about what happened to his parents, and the fact that Cap lied to him.
He's also no doubt angry that Cap tore apart the Avengers (Tony's mental safety blanket) for the sake of a murderer and to stop a threat that didn't exist (the other Winter Soldiers). Everything Tony built to protect the world, gone for the sake of a lie.
This is just insane cinematography and storyline with dynamic actors. Modern mcu can never hope to achieve this level of complexity and character ever again.
What they did with Zemo in this movie was phenomenal
This is my favourite reimagining of a comic book character that's nothing like his original character
Makes the scene look like an "accident", proceeds to shoot the light with a pistol.
Bro the acting is so good 😭
That last look he gave him was fr sad but amzing
0:51 that’s right T’Challa. You got the wrong guy.
How lucky there was a camera in the middle of the woods pointed at the exact tree they crashed, I mean what are the odds there
Tony never got peace in his life ever.....😢
Daniel Brühl is probably one of the most underrated actors ever.
After all these years, the scene is still EPIC!!!
I am both impressed and relieved Tony's armour was equipped enough to both be offensive and defensive to not just Super Soldiers, but Captain Ametica and the Winter Soldier.
Wow
There’s 30 some odd movies in this universe, now about a dozen tv shows… 4 avengers films.
For me this is the most dramatic moment in the MCU.
Notice Tony didn’t get angry until he saw Bucky kill his mom
3:37 if you look closely at bucky you can see that he was tearing 😢 up because he knew that he had no control of what he did
Why people don't wanna understand the fact that Steve seriously didn't knew Tony's parents were killed by Winter Soldier. He only knew that Hydra killed Tony's parents but he didn't knew that Bucky killed him.
The acting is so good omg
No shit
The greatest marvel movie. It really *is* a great movie, with high stakes, and profound emotional themes. It feels serious. Top notch acting also, the best of the best.. . This was Marvel's absolute peak.
Damn the way cap calmly but immediately starts watching tony instead of the video
I think it's deeper now when buck y says I remember them all because in his show he has nightmares and literally remembers them all 😭
Steve knew the Starks were murdered. He probably figured it was Bucky in CA2
and panther is just there the whole time LOL
Bro ended getting jumped bc his parents died 💀
VHS cassette.... Iconic symbol of the 80s!!!!!
Captain America -scary of my own death, so I hide the truth from Tony Stark
Zemo is basically Billy Butcher but better looking. He should count himself lucky he didn't have to deal with Homelander.
The ending reminds me of the scene between Homelander and Black Noir
Tony knew Hydra had his parent killed. He wasn’t just angry that it was Barnes he was angry and devastated that Steve didn’t tell him and that he knew about it for 2 years
I will understand this was never a full on avengers movie ? But instead it was Captain America 3
It’s an avengers movie. They just couldn’t call it that cause two of the most powerful avengers weren’t there. Which is good cause I bet Thor would’ve sided with Tony. He understands wanting remember for parents deaths.
Love Cap but it’s really hard not to side with Tony here
To all the people lying to themselves that Steve was 'pretending' not to lift Mjolnir as to not embarrass Thor, It's actually this secret that Steve was keeping from Tony that kept him from being able to lift it
its 'crazy how Captain America throws his shield 🛡at the wall where Zemo was and its' funny how Zemo tells Captain America that camber was built to Protech itself from Their UR100 rockets and its's amusing how Ino man says bet he could beat that its's amusing how Zemo tells Ino man and Cap and Black panther and Bucky then they would never know why that came and its' funny and crazy how Cap tells Zemo that he killed incent people in Veanna just to bring them there and its' funny and crazy how Zemo tells Cap that he's there because he made a promise and its' amusing how an Empire can rise and shine and its' very crazy how Tony see the footage and tells them he knows that road and asks what is it and its' very amusing and crazy how Tony found out who killed his parents and its' funny how Cap tells Tony he's sorry and its 'amusing how Tony try's to jump Bucky and its' funny how Cap tells Tony no and its' funny how Bucky was like if there isn't a true Semar he's not going to stand down and its' funny how Ino man hits Cap and how things fall on top of Ino man and its' crazy how Cap tells Bucky get out of there and tells Tony it wasn't him Hydra had control of Bucky's mind and its 'amusing how the edge of Caps shield🛡 bust out the back rocket of Ino man boot its' funny and crazy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanos needed an infinity guantlet. Zemo needed a notebook
mighty convenient that the winter soldier, known to use a mask that covers most of his face. forgot to put it before the mission and looked directly into the camera without it
3:28 For a moment, I thought he was flipping off the camera. XD
Tchalla should've helped tony but the fight would've been too one sided and he had other plans with zemo
Pretty sure tchalla learned the truth about Bucky before they fought so I don’t think he would
Imagine if ol dude was "The Joker"😮 Imagine that Rabbit Hole.....
this scene reminds me the time RDJ was interviewed by an annoying interviewer. he has that same angry eyes as that scene like he was about to smack that guy interviewing him LOL
Poor Tony! Can't really blame him!
3:37 m sure bucky might have shitted in his pants 😂😂😂😂
Tony hated seeing him killing his father, but you can clearly see the "don't do it. don't you fucking dare" look on his face when bucky was getting closer to his mother. that's what mostly broke his soul. totally justified
Would have been a lot more impactful if Rhodey had died at the airport and Tony had killed Bucky. In effect, both Tony and Cap would have lost their best friends and it would really have sold the rivalry between them
Bucky was out of his mind. But he still felt guiltySo Bucky didn't kill Tony's parents. But damn Cap didn't tell anything ...This one is hard to judge.but definitely can't blame Tony for this.
Bucky’s blank expression makes the murder seem so creepy
I want AUDIENCE REACTIONS to this scene!
2:47 The way Howard say sergeant barnes to his old friend, is painful. For years he thought he was dead, only see him alive but not knowing why his old friend is killing him.
3:47
This was good MCU.
incredible the acting of Robert downey jr 3:13
Those who say Tony was in the wrong need to think how he felt in that moment it doesn’t matter if it wasn’t Bucky’s fault. Tony was too emotionally unstable at the moment
3:48 Mrbeast solid supporters asking Mrbeast if he knew what chris did:
And to think again That same guy that all of that is the friend to the other guy who didn't tell Tony Stark the truth.
Would be cool to see cap, bucky and ironman fighting 5 super soldiers tho... DAMNIT!
SUCH good acting from RDJ.
*2:10*
*December 16, 1991*
I think the Tony’s last straw was how cold blooded Bucky killed his mom
It's understandable for Iron Man to be mad at Captain America for knowing that Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier, killed Iron Man's parents in 1991 while Cap was asleep in the ice after saving New York City from the Red Skull's plane in 1945, but Bucky couldn't help it because he was under HYDRA's control. Cap couldn't let his friend, the only one left from an earlier era, get killed in cold blood. Cap had to keep it secret to save Iron Man from killing Barnes or he wouldn't be able to live with himself knowing his parent's killer didn't kill them of his own free will.
Good thing Steven didn't just hit the screen.
Considering how Tony tries to murder Bucky in cold blood despite knowing that he was a brainwashed slave of Hydra with no choice is one of the many reasons Steve did not tell him the truth
I think he was more pissed that captain never told him the truth
Even when tony found out cap lied and said that he wasn't sure
This does kinda set up dr.doom type story because doom wants to save his mom so they might work that in the story for doomsday
Zeno over the intercom sounds like Viola Davis playing Amanda Waller
Considering the circumstances of the fact that Bucky should have been dead in the first place, but apparently rescued by the enemy and turned into a monster by no means of himself, captain America knew of this, the whole thing shouldn’t have added up. But, Bucky was definitely used as a weapon and he wasn’t in his own mind to begin with. But that was the plan anyway, was to divide and conquer in a way that the avengers would never be able to truly trust each other. Almost similar concept going on in today’s world where we have the United States 🇺🇸 being destroyed from within. I know it’s crazy to put these 2 view points together like this, but the whole narrative is there. We as a government that can’t get along with each other, and government that is losing trust from its own citizens, this kinda makes sense.
Imagine he had hulkbuster on
Steve and Bucky wouldn’t be alive plain and simple.
So, after steve says "i didn't know it was him" what was Tony's line's after that until the end of the video?
2:00
I feel so bad for everyone involved here.
Why didn't Steve just destroy the monitor before Tony saw the whole footage?
"Sorry, tony. My hand slipped! There was nothing to see there anyways."
Hydra control him to kill Tony’s parents so sad
Is Tony loses his control totaly .. No one Can Stop him 💥💥
You saw cap throw that shiield, He threw it straight for the head, REALLY hard, that would severely injure him, if not sever his head.
I noticed Tony’s dad low key looks different in captains first movie from the avengers movies
Different actor
Yup cap was as guilty as baki
No way
"Accidents will happen."
