Thanks man, if I didn't have the thermo/gameplay limits this game would indeed be huge... My original plans included so much more, including Andy's whole house instead of just his room, having pizza planet open to the outside carpark environment, opening Sid's door and going through the house to the yard level, taking off in the rocket at the end etc, but it would've been interrupted by constant new loading screens to pull it all off and I settled for the one load per level style.
Really glad you liked it. I talk myself out of making a sequel almost every day because of the effort haha
@@lifeasneil I understand you perfectly. only someone who makes dreams can understand how complex and how long it took you to do everything. Since I started making dreams I value every minute detail. It is as if every action or thing that happens in the games makes you think about the ingenuity behind it. again congratulations I will wait for the sequel

I sent your video to a friend of mine who is a fan of toystory and he was impressed, he said that it is incredible and he can not believe that a person did it haha)
@@krizmaho6842 yea wow, it definitely requires commitment and effort. This took me about 11 months sometimes up to 5 hours a day. Possibly because I had no experience ever making anything like this. Was a proper project/goal.

awesome that you got archer in the game. toy story and small soldiers are my favorite movies of all time right next to Star Wars original trilogy, prequel trilogy, and rogue one.

This is a "What If?" scenario is they made a Toy Story game for PS1, N64 and probably Sega Saturn.
And wow, Archer from Small Soldiers invaded Andy's Room killing off loads of Christmas Olafs.
That was the motivation dude, to make a game I wish I could've played back when I was a kid when the movie released 😎
There already was a Toy Story 1 game but it's outdated. So this is a remake from the ground up and TS1 now has a solid spot in the gaming industry as well as TS2 and TS3

Man, this must have tooken you a lot of hard work, but it sure was worth it! Since "Toy Story" is one of my all time favorite movies, this fanmade game of the film that you created through "Dreams" (PS4) was definatly amazingly impressive to me 🤩😏😉👍

Did Sid also got Woody with the same quarter like Buzz when he was controlling The Crane? So this plot of the video game Buzz didn’t really see himself on TV commercial learn the truth he’s a toy by Woody?
Yea I tried to summarise the story a bit and keep what made the game flow. Bit too much in there to do everything 😎 I hope it was still fun to watch

Would love to see a different movie made into a game over toy story 3. I love it and all but it already has a pretty good game. Maybe something for a newer pixar movie like toy story 4 or even coco? Wall-E is one of my absolute favorites

I would especially love a scene where Archer (I'll call him 'Arch' for short) is assigned by Buzz to stay at the house and keep things under control (a job he gladly accepts) while him and the others go save Woody, and Buzz, in rather comedic fashion, pairs Arch with Chip, his arch-nemesis, for the job, much to Archer's annoyance and Chip's apathy, with Mr Potato head sarcastically saying "yeah, and I'm sure that decision's not gonna lead anything bad to happen while we're gone" but, when they've returned, they soon find that the Gorgonites and Commando Elites spent more time fighting each other than doing anything actually productive

I created my own trophies menu. I actually released the menu with instructions for the public on Dreams.
