Great review, I like alpaka a lot I’ve bought several of their slings for myself and family. For me, I use packing cubes. I think they are great for minimal packing with their compression features. And I bring 3 pair of pants (4 total with what I’m wearing) even though I also do laundry (in the room, or on/off site laundry facilities). I need 4 total mix and match outfits if it’s longer than a couple days. I use the Goruck 21L GR1 to one bag travel and edc.
Great video. Yeah, it seems like they've dedicated a bit too much space into the laptop compartment. I like the way Peak Desing does it, maximizing the volume of their main compartments by simply adding the laptop carry section to the back opening. Do you know how much it weighed at the end, fully packed (as you've packed in this video)?
Great review! Ordered mine last week, so I'm eager to pack it out. I usually only travel with a tablet, so im thinking I'll leverage that massive laptop compartment for a packable rain coat + probably all my socks and underwear 😂
Thanks for watching! That’s actually a super smart way to utilize that huge laptop space! I’m going to have to do that with the socks and underwear too ha.
@outenthelights gotta work with what you got 😂 I'm trying to squeeze myself into a slightly smaller travel pack-in lieu of something colossal like the Allpa 35-bc 1) when I packed out and tried that thing on, I felt like a turtle even at 6'3 195 lbs, lol, and 2) I'm hoping to use the pack as my EDC while traveling, too. Inshallah this will be the goldilocks pack 🙏
Good call! Elements Travel seems super slim compared to the Cotopaxi even though it’s like the same literage ha. And you can for sure use it as an edc too!
Great content - and music choice -, as always!I actually love all the little pockets and zippers, haha ... :) for those of us who are a bit lazy (and terrible at math) would you consider adding the measurements in centimeters too?:-) thanks and see you on the next video!
I usually just bring the sneakers I’m wearing. Sometimes, I’ll bring a second pair of dress shoes. If I were to bring the second pair for this pack, I’d probably lose the chore coat to get a little extra space. It would still be pretty tight with this bag.

That’s awesome! Alpaka makes great stuff!

Thanks for watching! I need to try out some Peak Design, heard great things! It’s right around 16-17ish pounds all packed out!
@@outenthelights that’s quite good. Thanks
you should try the GR1 if you want a really minimalistic bag, i think it only has 4 pockets 😅
Oh yeah those always looked pretty cool! Haha I don’t hate pockets, just don’t know what to do with 13 of them lol!

Haha you got it! I’ll remember for the next one!
@@outenthelights cool, thanks! :D
Cool! You did not say anything about shoes?

@@outenthelights If you put the shirt and Jeans into the Laptop compartment...maybe there would be roam in the main compartment?
@@franknobody5965 good call!
