Wow! I loved that episode. You know, with those great images, the relaxed music, both of your personalities, it's like a movie to me :-) The dog at the beginning was hilarious and the light at the end, wow!
Fantastic opening scene ! Nice narration and smooth editing. Felt like I was there myself. (Collection of wild camp sites can be a book itself.) Really admire the strength and easiness of you two. Thanks again for the video. I’m going to watch it again, for sure.
Thank you again for sharing your European winter in southern Italy. From one little scrappy dog to a very big dog that just seemed bothered by your presence , your adventure through Sicily was beautifully produced. All the best… enjoy and ride safe…Ted
Great to see this video of your experiences. When we toured Sicily in 2013 we took trains along the east coast from Giardini Naxos to Syracuse and up to Modica, as we did not fancy the heavier traffic there. We rode the whole south and west of the island. We found that generally Italians look poorly upon wild camping (most land is owned, fenced and used). As the camping grounds were mostly 5-10kms out of town by a beach, and 20-30 euro, we mostly took a 2-3 star hotel for 50-80 euro with breakfast included and secure parking for our bikes. I did not go to Italy for the beach life.
Yeah, the traffic along the east coast was some of the worst we've experienced in Europe. Wild camping in Sicily was also difficult for the reasons you mentioned - lots of fences and development. We're glad we went but it was definitely a challenging place to be on a budget tour.
Hey! Amazing trip and very nice video guys :) We "almost" met in Sicily. I have just started with bike packing and was in Ragusa a month ago. Amazing place. Planing to go around Etna this year and maybe next year will go around the whole island. All good to you and safe roads :)
Glad you enjoyed it! We did ride through Pozzallo in this section, but we didn't shoot any video there. We remember having some amazing pizza and cannolis and great views of the ocean though!
So happy I found your channel. Your travels are inspiring me to set up my bike and head off into the unknown.
Thanks for sharing.
Awesome, glad to hear it! We're happy you're enjoying the videos, thanks for watching!

Thank you so much! We're working on a photo journal of all our wild camps, it's been a fun project!

Nice! We really enjoyed Ragusa, and would like to explore the area around Etna some more. Maybe our paths will cross in the future!
Nice episode, I had to google 60 degrees F to see what it was in Celsius (~16, BTW), that is pretty good for March BTW!
Yeah it was a great place to be for the winter!
Here from reddit and loved the video. Will you be hitting Pozzollo in the next video? Looking forward to seeing more. Safe travels!
