    Thought you might go to Corsica after Sardinia. It is cycling paradise. I have done both islands. Big surprise.

      With the Schengen visa limit we decided to just go straight to Spain, but we've heard really good things about Corsica and would love to visit in the future!

    Lovely to see your video again !
    Indeed, it does rain in Spain!
    As always, you two peddle away
    With sunny display, night and day
    Making daily gain
    Through the plains of Spain !

    Very nice to watch. Easy on the eyes, yet plenty interesting just watching you guys riding your bikes. Occasional comments help to punctuate the flow of beautiful vistas and the passage of time.

    Another awesome video! Just about to head off with the misses from northern Italy to Antibes in France then down to Mallorca for a bit. Keep up the great work and thanks for the inspiration!!

    Great images. I like the mood with the grey sky and the rain. I already went to Pamplona and the whole North-West area of Spain (I do not live very far from there). You should definitely visit San Sebastian, and the French West Coast (Saint-Jean-De-Luz, Biarritz, etc.).

    • @RollingExistence

      We would love to visit those places, we've heard great things about them. It was difficult to choose a route in Spain since there was so much to see! Hopefully we'll return someday!

    As far as i remeber your brakes were mechanical discbrakes? How do you like your brake setup after all these kilometers? Sometime you can hear them squeaking in your videos. Would you choose the same setup again or go for hydraulics rather? Anything else you would change maybe.
    All the best Jesche.

    Just found your channel and I'm binge watching your journey. You two are amazing packers or you really travel light. Most bikers have a dry bag on top of the rear rack.

    • @RollingExistence
      @RollingExistence  2 роки тому

      We try to pack as light as possible while still having everything we need to be comfortable when camping for long periods at a time. We keep clothing to a minimum and also have quilts instead of full sleeping bags, which take up less space.

    I love the helm-hood you wear! I will try to copy it for my bike trip to Cádiz, Andalucía. Have you any tips how you made it?

    • @RollingExistence
      @RollingExistence  5 місяців тому +1

      It's made by Da Brim.

    • @kayasper6081
      @kayasper6081 5 місяців тому

      @@RollingExistence I have found their website, thanks! Here in Spain we have to wear a helmet by law. But I guess skin cancer is a much bigger risk than head injury due to an accident.
      So it looks like this Da Brim offers the perfect solution.

    How’s your rain gear holding up

    • @RollingExistence

      Pretty well overall, though the pants are starting to wear from so much time in the saddle. And Jenny's shoe covers have never been waterproof so she has been meaning to replace those..

    Hello! Next week 6-10th march i will cycle your route, i found it on your website. It looks amazing, looking forward!
    Did you have a lot of encounters with dogs? Are they aggressive? Bit scared of them...

    • @RollingExistence
      @RollingExistence  Рік тому +1

      Awesome, hope you have a great ride! As far as we can remember, the dogs in Northern Spain really weren't that bad. Can't recall any particularly scary chases in that area.

    Hey Guys.....another great video....really enjoying your Travels :) Just wondering what level of bike fitness you had before setting off on this journey?? What sort of mileage are you knocking out most days?? Average....

    • @RollingExistence
      @RollingExistence  2 роки тому +1

      To be honest we did not have a very high level of bike fitness before setting off. When we started the tour we just took it very slowly at the beginning. Low mileage days and lots of breaks. Lately we do around 30-40 miles (50-65km) if it's hilly, a bit more if it's flat. Depends on if there's a lot to see in an area or if we're up against a time limit and need to go faster.

    You said it isnt a problem to bike in the rain. But hadnt you any problems with sweating underneath that plastic clothes? Ya I know they are breathable but I m soaked with sweat as soon as I do a few miles.

    • @RollingExistence
      @RollingExistence  Рік тому +1

      It just depends on the temperature outside. In this video, it was pretty chilly most days (it was March). We've found that the rain jacket is comfortable up to around 55f/12c but warmer than that the sweating gets pretty bad and it becomes not worth it. Also if we're on flat ground we don't get nearly as hot as we do going uphill. On long ascents we'll ride up the hill without the rain jacket and then throw it on for the downhill.

    Pamplona? Are you gonna run with the bulls? (Great video as always, especially with your drone.)

    • @RollingExistence
      @RollingExistence  2 роки тому +2

      No running with the bulls this time around! I think that happens in the summer, and I don't know that we'd be adventurous enough for it anyway 😅
