Thank you so much. The first foot I did this exercise on felt so much more alive compared to the other foot. And my entire side over the “alive” foot felt aligned and more supported. Absolutely loved this short exercise.

Thanks so much for sharing your expertise! Your videos have provided invaluable information as I continue to work in an exercise capacity with the aging population. With that being said, can you tell me if there are any contradictions to this foot release exercise?

Thank you so much! Not only you are knowledgeable and caring, but also very attractive person - joy to watch. I was rolling my foot on a peanut-shaped two balls, now I know better more effective way!

    Thanks Doc,

Hi Dr. Emily, very interesting videos, I just wish you would dumb it down a bit with laymen terminology as it can get a bit difficult to follow the anatomy. What do you think of the new vibrating rounds vs. the neuroball vs the traditional rad rounds for this technique? You also mentioned other applications you can do. I suspect that I have Hallus limitus, would this be the appropriate release for me?

Would be good if we could actually see what you are doing with your feet, but the video cuts them out.

Is it best to stand and apply pressure/weight, or would sitting down work?

Have enjoyed and taken your medical advice to heart for the past couple years. Ironic that I was hitting trigger points of my feet while at the pool today- though not noticing any discomfort walking/ running cardio. I had a major “ouch” at #3 while working them out with my thumb. Thanks for the knowledge (How do I seem to recall what you teach ; even as I am memorized by your beautiful feet, too).

Just checking the time required. It seems to be about 20 secs for each ball ?. You held it for 3-4 seconds over the 6 spots x 3 balls . ABout 1 minute per foot total ?

She said 20 seconds per spot with each ball. 6 minutes per foot total.

Is it possible to overdo it with rolling? I felt like I was doing too much. I'm really hypermobile so I think that may be a factor.

I have hallux limitless and I'm a sprinter on my right foot caused by over pronation , all Dr. talks about treatments not the cause. Are you single?
