It's always a question of taking interesting info and adapting it to your needs. A very big well done to encourage people to produce their own healthy food.
I love how he reused 5gal pails for his pots and showed the importance of feeding his plants when 1st signs of stress. Well done- the fish dipped in lime powder is amazing. Wonder what kind of little bags they were? Probably paper vs plastic to break down, allow nutrients to fill the soil/ plants. Thanks for the video!
It looked like some of those buckets weren’t food grade. Be careful to not plant anything you will eat in buckets which stored chemicals, industrial oils etc. Only use plastic which is graded safe for food.
Good point… yet do you think this would be any worse than the “fresh food” we are fed in the grocery store? I wouldn’t use something that houses toxic chemicals earlier… yet how much plastic would really leach into the soil during a few months??? 🙃🙏❤️🩹🌴
@@lisaevers3052 . Some of those containers looked industrial, not to mention appearing to be plastic that is meant for hazardous substances. I don’t trust any of our food or water now so you probably don’t want to get me off on that trail! I distill water, I grow some veggies, I buy from small farmers. I’m as careful as I can be but I’m certain everything is contaminated one way or another…(chem trails, acid rain, gmo). Soooooo. According to my family, I’m just nuts..lol. But, I make as much as I can from scratch.
Wow - I don't know why - it's terrible that I actualloy doubt that this worked after seeing the mismatch of cut ends and no baby growing zucchini, only male flowers. Curious.
Love the wicking system; just make sure you don't create an anaerobic zone, as that is not the biology you want, as it will damage your roots. As long as you only have the wicks in the water you will be fine. Thanks. :))
