What's the worst hand the best player calls with there, esp with Kh Jh out there. Play D and bluff catch. Love the 2k effective 5 bet pot of 6, 12, 48, 200, as opposed to say 1k effective 20, 75, 250, shove. Interesting.
Honestly, well played by the villain other than the river. If he jams the river, it probably works. Its really, really hard to think of a bluff in this 5b pot given the runout and the cards.
He's got literally no value besides one combo of JJ and one combo of KK with this line. Maybe 3 combos of AA and 3 combos of QQ he played poorly, but both unlikely as played. Such a trivially easy snap call river no matter what size the villain goes.
@@Jermo484 also one combo KJs, one combo QTs/T9s, 2 combo AJs/2 combo JTs. Not counting lower flushes. So, alot more value in my opinion. I would argue it's much harder to find a bluff here actually. TT/99 are like some of the only bluffs here.
@@TheNow_Now sure, he can have those, if we completely ignore the fact that it's a 5 bet pot. Also, this turn bet is so utterly pointless that I wonder why you think villain played it well.
@@Jermo484 1kbb deep, you can have a lot more hands IP. My point is that I think there's actually far more value combos than bluffs in this line (not for this sizing though)
Despite everyone bashing the river sizing, and my agreeing that we can debate what bluff size is optimal, I say that the sizing is definitely profitable, better than checking back. At low cost, he gets hands like AhQo to fold. The bet sizing somewhat makes up for the pot odds, by appearing to be very value-ish, and by reducing the amount of money thrown away when people tank and flip a coin about whether to call. If they're tanking and flipping a coin about whether to call, $2 is the optimal bluff size there. So the only question is, what is the minimum size which makes them tank and approximately flip a coin? The minute that Bart says to consider folding, villain's bluff sizing is vindicated.
Dream flop. Small flop bets are to ladder up, while another heart or BWAY here coulda shut this hand down quick. Wish Bart woulda asked - If board doesn't pair, does hero look to get it in on river? Wats the worst hand that villain thinks hero shows up with on river? Hero's hand was way under repped, villain coulda gave hero AA-AK and went small hoping he'd blink, cause otherwise hero can easily have JJ-QQ-KK.
Yeah they are both clearly playing deeper than either of them are comfortable with. Hence the chicken shit 25% bet. Villain knew he had to bluff obv was just too chicken to put him to the test.
I thought hero played this just fine. I'm not a big fan of tiny flop bets, but once hero does that I think going into a check-call mode makes sense. Villains river bluff was terrible.
Terrible sizing by the villain at the end. In a 5 bet pot hero has at least top pair top kicker like he did. If he went bigger with the bluff he'd won.
Horrible river size: b25? Villain, like everyone, is underrolled and was afraid of bluffing bigger on river. V should recognize more hands at river given b17,b50 Flop and Turn. Chunkier bets folds out AA, AK, AQ, and even chunkier AJ
I mean what does the villain think he's getting off here? 5! Pot so hero has to have Kx in the range and demonstrates that as played so can't get value but sizing too small to get folds..

I'd check. I'd be expecting only the Qh to call a lead, and hope he might bluff.

@TheNow_Now you think that because you have absolutely no idea what people actually play in 5 bet pots.

This was going to be interesting if Villain shoved river. 400 was lame.
checking on the turn induced the bluff
