Where everyone (with Superman being the key Character) is going to face off against Doctor Manhattan, who is considered a threat for Manhattan. This show doesn't have anything to do with DC Universe. It takes place 35 Years after the events of Watchmen.
Don't tell people about doomsday clock... it's fucking horrible. It's just a cash grab full of never ending filler with little plot at all. It's so bad. They keep delaying it because test readers are hating it so much.

Rorschach didn't put Ozymandias' plan in his journey, for What I remember. He sended it alway before he and Owlman went after Ozymandias. If they are really going after the Guy because of his plan, that means someone else who knows about the plan told the cult about.

A lot of people are shitting on the fact that the Rorschach cult is a metaphor for trump supporters, and while that may be true you have to admit this is actually how the real world would react if Rorschach’s journal was published. It would cause a lot of conspiracists to act out in a violent manner possibly and I really respect the show for its realistic interpretation. Not many people would really believe the things he wrote in the first place except for a bunch of conspiracists.
There is its called Doomsday Clock and its intertwined with the DC Universe. This actually seems to be a continuation of that story. Not sure if they are going to reference the fact that Dr. Manhattan moved to the DC universe or what but it seems like its self contained.

Damon Lindelof referred to this as a "remix", when he first made the announcement about writing the pilot last year. And in a typically self-deprecating manner, how foolish it is to try and make ANY kind of additional material based in any way around the Watchmen graphic novel, whether a straight remake (of Snyder's film, or a re-adaptation of the novel), or even different to the degree what Lindelof is. But EVERYTHING that happened in the novel is canon to this TV series, it is in the past. I hadn't heard yet a specific year of how far in the future, but definitely at least a couple decades. That some characters carry over (Jeremy Irons playing the older Ozymandias), but some entirely new characters. Obviously the original Rorschach wouldn't be here as he died in the first story. Telling a completely new story, but one that would also make sense and have context with what this alternate reality is. Also if you were a fan of "The Leftovers", there are more people involved in this series who helped make that, including the director of the pilot episode.

The show is set in 2019's Tulsa, and depicts the story of a police force trying to stop a white supremacist organisation to go after them. That's why they wear masks. But they will soon understand that the story is much deeper than this

Rorschach didn't put Ozymandias' plan in his journey, for What I remember. He sended it alway before he and Owlman went after Ozymandias. If they are really going after the Guy because of his plan, that means someone else who knows about the plan told the cult about.

A lot of people are shitting on the fact that the Rorschach cult is a metaphor for trump supporters, and while that may be true you have to admit this is actually how the real world would react if Rorschach’s journal was published. wow I didn't know it was a continuation of the graphic novel and not just a re telling of the same story. I'm actually way more hyped now.
There is its called Doomsday Clock and its intertwined with the DC Universe. This actually seems to be a continuation of that story. Not sure if they are going to reference the fact that Dr. Manhattan moved to the DC universe or what but it seems like its self contained.

Damon Lindelof referred to this as a "remix", when he first made the announcement about writing the pilot last year. And in a typically self-deprecating manner, how foolish it is to try and make ANY kind of additional material based in any way around the Watchmen graphic novel, whether a straight remake (of Snyder's film, or a re-adaptation of the novel), or even different to the degree what Lindelof is. But EVERYTHING that happened in the novel is canon to this TV series, it is in the past. I hadn't heard yet a specific year of how far in the future, but definitely at least a couple decades. That some characters carry over (Jeremy Irons playing the older Ozymandias), but some entirely new characters. Obviously the original Rorschach wouldn't be here as he died in the first story. Telling a completely new story, but one that would also make sense and have context with what this alternate reality is.
Also if you were a fan of "The Leftovers", there are more people involved in this series who helped make that, including the director of the pilot episode.
Read Doomsday Clock if you want the REAL Sequel to Watchmen, not this fake non cannon shit.

The show is set in 2019's Tulsa, and depicts the story of a police force trying to stop a white supremacist organisation to go after them. That's why they wear masks. But they will soon understand that the story is much deeper than this
