Released in 1993, the game enjoyed moderate commercial success. However, today it is looked back upon fondly as one of Sega's best games of the early 90s.
Unfortunately, it was released around the same time as Mortal Kombat, meaning it did not get the attention from gamers that it deserved at the time.
