LA CaTS LA CoSP Session 5 - Grant Writing: The Research Strategy

Session 5 of the LA CaTS Community Scholars Program took place on March 12th, 2024 and featured Margarita Echeverri, MSc, PhD on "Grant Writing: The Research Strategy"
The LA CaTS Center is pleased to announce the 2024-2025 LA CaTS Community Scholars Program (Cohort 6). The program provides formal training and pilot project funds for teams comprised of a community and an academic partner interested in conducting community-engaged research (CEnR) studies. The goal of the LaCoSP is to increase the capacity of community-academic partnerships to conduct community engaged research with mutual ownership of the processes and products, and with the ultimate goal of improving the health of residents of Louisiana and the nation. LACoSP pilot projects are intended to inform future grant applications by each LaCoSP team for state, federal, foundation and other sponsor funding considerations.
