Super duper review Scaberoo! I’ve had the opportunity to use my buddies Apocalypse. It is beautiful with literally perfect fit and finish but it’s actual performance was nothing special in my opinion to make it worth the money.
@@bobhabsolute4995 that’s the age old question brother. What is the perfect knife? The answer is different for everyone. Personally, I am a fan of Bark River for all their blades but especially their big ones. I am more a fan of carbon steel over stainless.
Full convex and full flat with a secondary convex bevel are my two favorite grind for big knives, so Bark River makes sens. Yet, I think I will have to go custom to find a big thin knife able to do what a big fat knife is able to do because, yes, I like a slicer. Which big B.R. do you prefer (Bravo 1.5, 2, 3; kalahari 1,2; pig sticker, crusader, etc)?

He is a fellow UA-camr in Nevada. He will work with you to make whatever you want and his knives are most importantly incredible but also reasonably priced.
I was thinking it was basically the same looking as a Lion Steel T5, but then you picked it up and I thought the T5 could be it's baby brother. The apocalypse knife is a knife I aspire to own. Excellent review.

I really wanted this knife but it's always out of stock. I ended up grabbing the Fox 140 XL. Very similar looking blade without the choil and comes in Niolox steel so not quite as "super". Still a fantastic knife though I recommend picking it up if you like a large knife 👍
Great review man. Definitely like the knife but $500 is just out of our price range. But if I had an extra $500 I didn't want, that seems like a solid investment.
SCAB you got me man i had to grab one ha-ha im gonna review it this week and not to mention brother i got the wokr tuff grizzly to review comes the 26th in k329 i got a pre drop sneak peak which was very cool you got me into work tuff gear and auroras knives man they are legit!
This knife is amazing. Own one and I also own the previous Apocalypse model. It's a bit smaller both in size and weight (and steel - m390) but still have the same design/feel. TRC have some of the best knife designs/models out there. Worth it imo. Highly recommended! Check out the M1/Mille Cuori model also if you want a more militarized model. Impressive stuff.
Awesome review that knife is just built for doing anything you want. Little out of my budget but from the testing it would be well worth the money. Keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable
One thing people don't consider is this, if you don't use your "survival knife" for daily tasks or just whatever you may not know it well enough when you actually need it to survive!

TRC knives remind me of CRK they don't do anything unnecessary everything is for a purpose and what they do is absolutely phenomenally done. Attention to detail is really apparent when you get one in hand.

I love my apocalypse and south pole trc knives. These truly in my opinion are probably the best choice for a camp/survival type of knife.
