Fleet does the flying and the guard does the dying.
GLORY TO THE FIRST MAN TO DIE!
And then the guardsman looks up and sees a massive, sickly purple flash in the sky and feels the screams of thousands of souls roiling in torment. He turns to the company confessor and asks him, "What in the Emperor's Arse was that?" and the confessor turns to him and says "Warp Core implosion... There are far worse things than death my son."
I see what you did there...
Come on, you apes! You want to live forever?!
@@weldonwinyou missed it.
We are the defenders of humanity
We are the Emperor's blazing sword and the Imperium's crushing fist
Thousands upon billions of hands ready to die for our mission in the cold, unforgiving space
_We are the Imperial Navy_
IN THE NAVY!
Yes, you can cruise the stars above
IN THE NAVY!
Yes, you can fire virus bombs
IN THE NAVY!
Come on, and be the Emperor's hand!
IN THE NAVY!
IN THE NAVY!
IN THE NAVY!
comment for the comment god!
Likes for the like throne!
RIP to the heroes from Battlefleet Gothic.
Thank you for some much needed information!
Thank you, a really good introduction to the Imperial Navy.
short but nice
Question: when a entire fleet travel, are they together on te Warp ? Like in formation and able to comunicate to one another ?
Providing the tides of the warp are stable/calm, yes. However there's no guarantee that a fleet can retain its formation, so ships may emerge at a rendezvous point at different times.
@@40KTheoriesquite literally in some cases?
In one of the Horus Heresy novels, the Dark Angels are traveling in the Warp and are being tracked. The Navigator says that should be impossible. I'm pretty sure regular communications don't work in the Warp either.
All ships have astropaths.
@@robertnelson9599 I know. But she says directly that it shouldn't be possible, especially to the degree to which the other ship was tracking amd following.
Sweet glad the Navy was covered.
I’m so early to this one! Excellent work!!!
Few channels 8m happier to see an upload from!
The Navy Needs More Love in 40k
Thank you.
Great video thanks
Nice
Excellent Synopsis:)
just got back into remlaiz and he sounds different here. is it just improved mic quality or am i hearing things?
I did change my recording setup about a year or so ago, so that might be it?
Funny, most ship dedicated infantry are usually called "marines". I wonder why Imperial Navy doesn't have some kind of "space marines".
/Sarcasm
I thought the Battle Fleets were larger than that: a few hundred ships each, including escorts.
If you're curious about the numbers, we got them from the Battlefleet Gothic rulebook (which is one of the few sources to talk about the Navy in-depth). Remember that the numbers we mentioned were for the average fleet, so there will be fleets larger and/or smaller in size.
@@40KTheories Thank you. For the reference and the explanation.
I'm a reader not a gamer. And the novels tend to concentrate on major naval actions. Rather than the regular grind of patrolling quieter sectors of the Imperium.
Didn't Khorne manifest in the material universe just long enough to destroy a Battlefleet with his sword in more recent times?
I might be misremembering, but I thought he simply drove one to madness, rather than physically destroying one.
@@40KTheoriesI'm talking about him manifesting in the material universe swinging his sword.
It just the navy in space
Can you tell us about the Pale Throng
I get why it's call it the "Navy" but I still hate it. Of course I called Space Marines Adeptus Astartes even before the lawsuit lol.
GrimDark Narrator has done some good videos recently on the imperial navy if anyone wants a bigger deep dive. ARCH too I believe.
