I love your flight. Great to see the UMX TTE flying on floats. I flew it on water this summer and am looking forward to our snow (Massachusetts) soon!

Thanks! I'm surprised there's no snow there yet.

    Nice. I can relate...
I have a lot of experience flying the same setup here in North Central, PA. It is a lot of fun. My flight preference is to do a lot of stretched out touch and goes which makes cool looking tracks all over the snow. There was one very powdery snowfall last year which made it almost impossible to land without nosing right into the snow when landing. Didn't hurt anything and made it a real challenge to absolutely grease the landing to avoid nosing in.

I wanted to do long touch and goes, but after my first attempt at taking off, I realized how that would end. Sure is fun!

It definitely flies different, but it's not hard and you get used to it pretty quick. Have you checked out Jeff in lower Alabama? He has these weekly livestreams on Fridays. It's a whole community of friendly small RC youtubers just getting together. Pretty great!
