    Even though I do not often speak of contemporary events, I do think that a page of sports history was written on February 17, 2022.
    This video is my very subjective opinion regarding the events that happened during the women's single figure skating program of the 2022 winter Olympics.

    Today Camila is the champion of champions kissed by God and we are lucky to see the beauty in this crazy world, it is unlikely that the world will see something else like it

    Kamila's tears at seeing her Olympic dreams shattered were real, at least. And she was the one forced to beat in that final nail with her calculated throw.
    I don't believe she was a mental wreck .. I think it turns out that she really was on that drug and detected as a result of bad timing from how her entourage drugged her. Maybe all of the athletes had the same but didn't fail timing. Confronted with the eventual denial of her victories I think her and the entire team tacitly decided to forfeit her victory at the Olympics rather than compromise to the IOC's destruction of the ceremony for no purpose. Truly an evil setting that she managed to go through.
    Her coach feigned disappointment but you can figure out the rest from the behavior and reactions of the other two medalists.
    I do believe that this disaster for her lifetime aspiration with the Olympics will turn out for the better for her, if only she can see beyond the idealization into the concrete facts: she has gained far more popularity this way and still has all her skills. If the drugging hadn't been detected, she would have had one or two more years of success under this coach and then fade away. I wouldn't have even heard her name if it wasn't for this.

      @Dan
      All that, plus the fact she will be able to continue as a professional skater regardless, so her financial stability is pretty much assured which can't be said about a lot of former professional athletes.

      @@Ad-excelsum The incident itself is tragedy. The whole situation's aftermath, however, is the best thing that could have happened to Kamila, so long as she isn't left embittered.
      If the drugging hadn't been detected, she would have had two or three more years of success under this coach and then faded away. Indeed, we are already seeing she is getting far more than a gold medalist would .. will it turn out for the best, will she be able to find a path to a sustainable approach, or will this throw her off?
      About her future skating career, it is something that was enabled precisely because of the scandal, or else she would have ended on Tuberitze's scrap list, medal or not. So what needs to happen now if she wants to pursue figure skating moving forward is to find the best coaching setting in the world, whether that be in Russia or US, Australia or Japan. There is a great risk that either the scandal will turn her into a media doll or that she will keep being a sl*ve under the Russian system and Tuberitze.

      Your opinion about drug is very funny and it's even more ridiculous to compare Valieva with Tutberidze's one-season girls!
      If you don't notice that she is completely different and special, I feel very sorry for you! And what drug are you talking about?! Did you watch any of her performances at all?! Even just watch the movement of her fingers, No doping can do that to you! You can not even learn it! It's just inherent in you!
      We know what actually happened but for some, being in the role of a turkey is in vogue!..
