IMMEDIATE like as soon as you said “St. George and the Dragon”, by Toto. Love it.

I found a workaround for the beginning - if you hit "collect all and save", the audio should appear in your "current project" folder and you can drag it from there :)

Can you please explain how to drag the MIDI from the EZ keys app to your DAW I can't figure out how to do it

Sorry for slow response. Select all the MIDI sections you want from the bottom most window in EZKeys and then drag it straight into a MIDI track in your DAW. In Ableton this works in the Arrangement view. If you're using a different DAW it might be different, unfortunately I've only used it with Ableton so far. Hope this helps. If you're still having trouble let me know what DAW you're using and what seems to be going wrong.

I think you dragged it into the chords section in Ezkeys. You gonna want to drag it into the audio section.

It doesn’t matter you still need to render out a new audio file for it to read it. Heard same issue from friends who use different daws. Something Toontrack need to work on for next gen of the Ez line.

If that's actually representative of how it works, it couldn't get a job anywhere. But the other vids of EZKeys make it look like it works better than it does here. Interesting.

I haven’t used it in a while so there may have been updates/improvements. This was within days of launch. Wouldn’t surprise me if they addressed common user complaints. I’ll have to check for updates and follow up.

Interesting. I use Cubase, I have ezbass and wondered if ezkeys had some of the same drawbacks. I’m torn. I know what I want from synths and keys but just inputting the data and getting there is a pain as a guitarist. On the hand I don’t want any melodic “help” I don’t really want it writing for me.

like for EZ3 I have been having to solo that riff, and then mix down to mp3 then open it in there and go back and delete that mp3. its pretty annoying

  • @sergiojgutierrezgutierrez5934

You are in C Major on EZ Key
Use the key that you are playing your riff

The point was to test how well EzKeys 2 detects it so take it up with Toontrack

    Bandmate looks iffy

It definitely needs finessing but still saves time vs EZ Keys 1. I like it but don’t expect it to be anywhere near perfect.

Hold up.. great video, but you prove my point for this other guy.. A.I. is worthless when you have to explain the idea that's in your head..

It’s a shortcut not a solution. I like it’s ability to pick useful MIDI patterns more than figure out the chord progression. It’s easier than digging through the library manually imo
