  • A multimeter is a go-to tool for electronics measurements. Knowing how to use it to measure voltage, current, diodes, and transistors can save time (and frustration) while troubleshooting. James explains how the multimeter works so that you can understand what it is doing while using it: bit.ly/2Y6fdFH

I usually use mine to measure voltage on my AA and AAA batteries and also my car battery to verify the system is working as it should.

What does the "body diode" in MOSFET used for? To do what

It's not "used" for anything. It's inherient to the layer stack-up of a diode.

For measuring high currents there are nothing better than clamp meters, I see your meter also supports clamp add-on (last position on rotary switch)

That Tenma DMM looks exactly the same as my UNI-t 139c. The only difference is the color of the boot.

Yet another copying of Big Clive's advice to always return the lead to the voltage jack? :)

Was looking forward to understanding basics. However 2 min into the video he goes way technical and loses me. Would have liked a big picture working down to a small or technical approach.
