Lovely. I’m considering the S5. A kit with the 50mm is less than one with the 20-60. It’s either the increased range, or the faster aperture. For one lens to start, do you have a recommendation?
I find myself using 50mm most of time but it good to have 20-60mm in my bag for wide shots. I would stick with 50mm for a beginning and later buy 20mm or 35mm fixed lens.
@@jimmydonut1 Thanks for he reply! I'm seeing the S5 with the 50mm at $1300. Do you think it's a solid setup in 2023? It's quite a bit less $$$ than the S5ii, which I realize has PDAF.
@@danieli.9252 in 2023 I would go for s5ii. Autofocus makes difference. After a year using s5 (and don’t understand me wrong, s5 is still one of the best quality video camera for money) I found myself in situations where I want to put camera on gimbal and without steady AF you just can’t do it.
my favorite vid. Love the Bus going by and the woman waiting is still seen through the moving bus windows. In shock the 20-60mm looks great. You set the mood with that music. I feel like im watching Breakfast at Tiffanys. Great job!
@@jimmydonut1 I have purchased S5 and waiting for delivery, I actually havent decided between s1h and s5, and choosed s5. Buy confused about auto focus, are you happy with autofocus?
@@MuratBey. myself using only manual focus as I couldn’t get best results with af. If you are specifically looking for cam with good af s5 is not your buy I would say.
What's this, an S5 owner who knows how to grade? Impossible! Great stuff
Haha, whats that supposed to mean 😅
@@thorengebretsen5132 It's a compliment, most of the S5 footage found on UA-cam and Vimeo are badly shot *and* badly color corrected. :)
@@uramfekete thank you so much man
Really you nailed it every scene was gorgeous...
Thank you

Thank you. Yes, only V-Log
@@jimmydonut1 👍
Amazing!🔥
Amazing ❤❤❤❤
Nice work!
Thanks!
hello love ur footage, what ibis mode do you youse, do you use boost ibis
Thanks a lot. I am using only e-stabilisation, boost is off and some warp stabilisation in post production
Nice video! Was it filmed in 4K 50fps with a crop or Full HD but upscaled to 4K? :)
Thank you. Some clips 4K 50fps with crop but most of them 4K 25fps full frame
20-60mm or 50mm,whats your fav..how much u need actually kit lens, I was thinking to sell,cause I have 50..
50mm. Depth of field is astonishing.
Wow great colors. How did you do the grading? did you use LUTS?
Thanks a lot. I did use a conversion lut from v-log to rec709 and film emulation lut with some tweaking on top of that
@@jimmydonut1 which film emulation lut?
@@rdelprin I think it was Seven with some tweaking
Very nice video? Are you using any type of filters?
Only variable ND filter for motion blur.
@@jimmydonut1 Alright, thanks man :)
