Dust to Dust is from their album "Queen of the Murder Scene". That male voice is their manager Rudy, who is playing the role of a preacher on this concept album.
Dany is a gearhead and acomplishes her "fat" guitar sound by splitting her output into stereo and appying different effects to each channel plus a small delay between them before they reach the left and right speaker channels. The only time you hear a true second guitar is when they use a pre-recording while she plays lead. Also, Ale is a chameleon and constantly switches between root notes, rhythym and lead depending on what Dany is doing so at times she effectly become a second guitar.
Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18. In 2022 they did over 100 gigs in North and South America along with Foo fighters, Halestorm, the Pretty Reckless, Three Days Grace, and Guns ‘n Roses. Earlier this year they did four shows with Muse in Mexico and finished 18 shows on the first US leg of their world tour. They then did concerts throughout Europe including opening for Muse five times in the UK and France. Many of these had 30-60 thousand fans in attendance. They recently completed the second leg of their US tour, played at the MTV VMAs, and opened for Guns N’ Roses. They are currently touring South America and will tour Mexico for the rest of 2023. In February of 2024 they will play Shiprock, a rock cruise, and in August 2024 they will play the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany. All three are classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale can play sax. All three sing lead and background vocals; but Dany is the principal singer. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. But later they all graduated high school through home schooling due to their touring schedule. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They started as a cover band. Their cover of Enter Sandman launched their career. They now have 47 original songs in an EP, three albums, and two singles. No bad songs. Their newest single, More, was released May 12th. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances. Any video from the August 2022 concert at the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City is gold! When not performing they are humble down to earth individuals. As you know already from The Warning Army, Dany is the lead singer (about 75%), Pau is the chief composer & songwriter (about 90%) with Ale singing lead for a couple of songs to fill in when Dany is down. Every song goes through a team effort of composition after Pau's initial pitch with all the sisters involved in every instrumentation, lyrics, etc. While composing on her piano Pau has to keep in mind who is going to sing the song.
Not trying to be creepy, but as a 60 yr old person, Alejandra is the most physically beautiful person I have ever seen in my lifetime and what a kickass bassist.
The audio was taken directly from the sound board which (I assume) makes it easy to filter out all the other instruments from Pau's vocal track. Their production/sound guy, Lalo (Eduardo) Plaza, has been getting tons of praise for his ability to make the band sound huge and crystal clear no matter where they play, even if they are denied a sound check.
Dany the guitarist is the lead singer on most songs and Pau the drummer sings lead on a few songs per album, Ale the bassist only sings backup, but will sing lead live when Dany is sick. They open quite a few songs with the bass, as being a trio the bass often acts as a rhythm guitar or even lead, plus on this song Ale the bassist came up with the opening riff first when composing the song, so makes sense that it would open the song. Regarding hearing more than one guitar and using a backing track, the answer is yes and no. Let me explain. Dany uses a Kemper Profiler pedal board and sends out 2 output lines in stereo with a right & left channels, with the left channel having a small delay to give the guitar a bigger sound, plus sometimes she also uses an expression pedal to send a second signal that is one octave lower to also make the sound bigger, but they do also use a backing track with some rhythm guitar, piano, sound effects, etc. when needed. One thing to clarify though, they play everything themselves even on the backing tracks, except the sound effects, as they all learned to play classical piano also.
I believe the profile she uses live is a profile of the Orange amp in their studio. The use of octave pedal and stereo space manipulation instead of the tried and true chorus pedal is refreshing.
Paulina and Daniela sing lead on specific songs. And there are songs they switch lead with each other, like in "Disciple" and "Survive". Alejandra will sing lead ONLY if necessary, like whebn Daniela is ill or especially tired and only on two songs in particular "Red Hands (Never Fade)" and "Hunter." It's not that she can't, she just does not like being on the mic. That goes back to when she was very young, like 3 or 4. Paulina would like to sing lead more but even she says it is difficult to do more lead vocals. No, who comes up with the song and lyrics does not matter. Daniela is the primary lead vocalist. Daniela, guitar, 23, main lead vocals; Paulina, drums, 21, 2nd lead vocals; Alejandra, bass, 18, rarely lead vocals. They use a backing track and a metronome for live performances.
I saw an old video of a live performance and Dany went down mid verse. Ale stepped right in and took over for the rest of the song. Never missed a note. Crazy! They just know each other so well.

Absolutely! It's kind of like Iron Maiden that way. People tend to _vastly_ underestimate what a bass player can do (because they don't have many examples of it to listen to). Also, Dany's setup includes a doubler that delays and alters her guitar sounds to make it seem like two (or three) instruments depending on the desired output. What he hears is all *her* - this is part of how they create the "wall of sound" these ladies produce on stage. It is important to remember this is a "live" performance, so very little "post-processing" - if any at all - is made to this recording. What you see is what you get. It's really rather incredible to see them live - this setup of electronics, and Lalo's ability on the sound board, is what makes this band stand out despite there being only three artists playing. It's really quite astonishing live!!
The tracks are the click, a background voice, sometimes a piano. The instruments are all hers live. When they need an extra guitar they invite someone. The guitar effects are controlled by Dany
They most certainly use a very limited guitar track. Dany can do some pretty amazing things with her guitar processor but she’s only one person and they can only put said effects on what she is actually playing. Dany achieves a lot through different channels and delays to “fatten up” her sound but she cant play 2 sets of notes or chords simultaneously and actual guitarists/musicians can pick it out fairly easily. It’s not a secret that they use guitar tracks at times. It’s really not that different then what any band does in the studio when recording. A large majority of touring bands play with a click track and use backing tracks. The Warning are not unique in this.
@@abuser-Milovidov Checking again, I may be mistaken. There are two guitars in the studio recording, as the bridge returns to the chorus around 2:45, but I don't hear the 2nd guitar line in the Lunario 2018 or CDMX 2022 videos.

yes pau handles the tracks and some of dany's pedals from her laptop and foot, pau can def multitask and could probably handle 3 more things to do back there if she just had the extra hands, crazy, great reaction, thanks for sharing
Since this is the prologue to their concept album, Queen of the Murder Scene. In the album, Pau plays the “good” person inside the murderer(played by Dany). Dany sings at the end to signify the awakening of “The Queen.”
There is a published video where Dany the guitarist explains how the entire guitar show works, first the pedal board has a phase shift programming, which causes a second guitar, increasing the noise of the first, another is that the pedal board itself has one click connected to Pau's laptop, where they place only a rhythm guitar and sound effects, only to accompany only the sections where they need strength, but everything controlled by Paulina the drummer, in fact everything is 100% live, it is only for boost force in a short section. If you listen to the entire concert, there are songs without any harmonic effect, just them, their instruments and voices. And yes bass have distortions effects too, keep rockin.
They attended a private parochial school in Monterrey growing up which emphasized teaching many of their classes in English. They have become more fluent in English than many Americans their age. 👍😎
The "cohesiveness" comes from the fact that once the basic melody and lyrics are written on piano, all three of them arrange the music together, a process they've used since they first learned how to songwrite in 2013-14 under the guidance of Ale's bass teacher, Pablo González Sarre. When they finished their song-writing workshop they asked to be shown how to record their music, so Pablo asked a friend (Jake Carmona) to show them, and when they started making albums (released in 2017 & 2018) they were so involved in the production that Carmona granted them professional "Producer" credits. Today they are so highly skilled that in a recent interview their manager Rudy Joffroy says he never knows what they're working on until they turn in a fully arranged, ready to record song. I'm certain that when they're able to afford it they'll build their own recording studio. NOTE: Their ages are easy to figure since Dany was born in 2000 and the others are 2 and 5 years younger, so when they released their first album (XXI Century Blood) in early 2017 they were only 17-15-12, they were 18-16-13 when "Queen of the Murder Scene" was released in 2018, and in 2023 they are 23-21-18.
I never get tired of watching Pau perform this song. Her vocals meshing with those beautiful drum fills, rank on top of my list of all-time music performances. I want to see another drummer pull this music magic off. My Favorite song from my favorite band, performed by my favorite musician is always a joy to look forward to. 💕🎶💕🎶💕🎶
The bit with the spoken spanish in the middle is their manager. Back in the day, he used to do it live on stage with the girls. Now that they play a lot more shows they just use a track for it. And yes, they do occasionally use guitar tracks to fill the sound, but it is hard to tell some times. Between all that Ale does on the bass to fill in for a rhythm guitar, and the effects Dani has on her pedal board. Dani can make her guitar very 'noisy' and basically create a wall of sound with it. Also I have noticed they also use cymbal crashes to fill the void of a rhythm guitar sometimes too. They learned early on to not rely on tracks too heavily. They've had shows where the computer crashed and they had nothing and didn't really miss a beat. They have the human metronome on bass to keep them all in time when their click track goes out. If you haven't checked it out yet, give a listen to 'Z' from this same show. It's a very basic song with just the 3 instruments, but you would swear there was more going on with how much sound they create with them.
If you've seen Batman The Dark Knight, you might remember a scene where Joker breaks a pool cue in half and throws it to the floor. "We've got one opening". Do that with the warning and a microphone and Ale would go, I'm good, you guys can have it.
Any song from this concert is fire. Pick a song from Teatro Metropolitan and you are sure to like it. They also have two songs that were sung on the MTV VMA's they just did about a month ago and they blew the house down. Look for the songs 'Evolve' or 'More' from the 2023 VMA's. Going back in time, check out the 3 songs they did at the 2017 TedX. And please check out their earlier 2014 Metallica cover of Enter Sandman, then check out their latest version of the same song from this exact concert at Teatro Metropolitan.
The break was not "off-beat"; I think you're thinking of syncopation, but it wasn't that either. What they did there is known musically as double-time.
Wait until you react to their song called "23 " , Pau the drummer sings lead again and is even more difficult to sing and drum than this one , same venue.
They do play with a track for additional guitars or piano, voices or other effects, but they do not relly on it, they use it tastefully. Cool reaction, please try and check Animosity from this same concert that may be my favorite The Warning song!
They do use backing tracks, but it's subtle and tasteful and they have totally done without the tracks when they have to. On this particular track basically all the guitar you're hearing is performance, run through Dany's effects rig with delays and chorus and octaver (and maybe loop?), and the only backing track is the Preacher during the breakdown. They really don't need to play to tracks to get this HUGE sound.
So many questions, I guess I’ll answer the question on Dany’s guitar sound, while yes there are some guitar tracks for when two different parts are needed but the main big sound does come from Dany and her guitar processor, I don’t think on this show that she is using her Kimber processor that she uses now but I think the one she is using on this show works the same way where she is running multiple signals from the same guitar, I believe, one signal goes directly to her amp which is also mic’ed and she has a signal on stereo that goes to the show main board where it goes left and right and she can even add effects on each signal, quite impressive, and if needed Pau can change her effects for her as needed via the midi…
Dany (guitarist) is lead on most songs. Pau (drummer) is lead on maybe 30% of their songs. I think I've heard Ale (bass) actually sing lead once (she doesn't enjoy it, apparently) :)
1:54 the word your looking for is tight this band is tight. I love how Paulina has developed a signature sound on her drums just like the early classic 60s 70s drummers had their style.
Dany often plays her guitar with an octave pedal and a ~10ms delay between the left and right house speakers to give a fuller sound. AFAIK there are no guitar backing tracks that they use.... it's all them live.
Just to add a bit more context to what others have said about "Queen of the Murder Scene": The album is an entirely original composition & was released when Dany, Pau, and Ale were 18, 16, and 13. They performed the entire album as a concert. The video is up on their UA-cam channel. It's absolutely worth the watch.
They do have quite a few songs starting with a bass run; Z, Disciple, Animosity are some others. Earlier on, Ale(jandra), played a greatly extended unaccompanied bass intro to this song. The backing vocal is Rudy Joffroy, their manager. He did sing it live a few times, but he couldn't get the timing entirely correct, so for a while he lip synced it. They don't bother with that any more; it's just a track. If you think they sing well in their second language (which they unquestionably do), you should see their interviews in English. They're always very polite and well spoken, but they really enjoy interviews with real experts in the field, such as Ryan Roxie. Dany has a slight but noticeable accent; Pau and Ale have very little if any. The only way to spot that English is not their native language is that they occasionally make odd vocabulary choices that native English speakers wouldn't, but it's very obvious what their point is, and I'd venture that they speak English better than most people who are native speakers of the language.
Forgive me if this is mentioned but yes, at times there are some additional guitar backing parts but there is also a technique Dany uses which I believe utilizes two channels with one slightly out of phase or with a very minimal delay as well as additional effects. Dany is a serious gear head and very detailed in building her guitar models. If you want to watch a raw video from the same concert on The Warning Army channel I'll take you there directly... ua-cam.com/video/PK-97z3r7FI/v-deo.htmlsi=rH8nVComSLUw3j_b&t=3128
Bass run at beginning: you picked the two songs this is most famous and prominent in. :) The other I know off the top of my head is "Ugh", which is also one of my fav The Warning tunes.
Dude! Are you really an audio engineer?! The drummer is using a Shure WBH54T Supercardioid condenser mic. A VERY common mic for this purpose. You don't get much "bleed" from these which is why they are so common, but I guess you don't know that.
I know she splits the output from her guitar into two channels and adds sustain to one channel... and other effects. They speak English without an accent when they want to. As someone who does speak more than one language --that blows my mind when someone can do that. They can pass for native English speakers.
From what I've heard and read, Danny uses no backing guitar stems. It's all her through her Kemper profiler live. Also Ale really fills the sound out with her bass.
They don't really take turns on lead vocals. It is more about what the song requires. All three of them participate in the composition of songs, though usually, Pau is the one who starts off the process. She comes up with the main riff, the beat, and some lyrics. Often she composes at the piano where everything seems to start off as a ballad. Then Ale and Dany contribute their suggestions and the song emerges fro m that process. It works well for them. Each of them has composed complete songs without assistance, but they arrived at the joint composition strategy while writing Queen of the Murder Scene. This song was largely composed by Ale, though both Dany and Pau worked their parts around Ale's bassline. It seems like if Ale's contribution is more significant and usual, the song will start off with the bass. She is very good at using her instrument to fill in under Dany's guitar to compensate for not having a rhythm guitar. In a lot of their songs, especially the ones from the Error album, you will notice that the bass and drums are carrying the song at certain points allowing Dany to focus on singing lead and accenting that with her lead guitar riffs. It is a good formula for them.
Glad you like them, but way too many interruptions. Almost painful to watch. And no, you don’t have to stop it that much for copyright. And no comment on that incredible belt by Dany at the end…👎.
There are way too many stops. Each time, you "assume" this or that. Maybe a little research prior could eliminate most of that. In addition, you would also learn that most all of your assumptions were wrong. It is a reaction video... watch it and react. I, too, will not be back.
Do you have to have music playing in the background while giving your reactions??? What to hear you not that wear music - it's distracting. Just my opinion. The Warning are 3 sisters from Mexico - ages as of 2024 - Bass player Ale is 19, Paulina or Pau drummer is 22 - won rock drummer of the year, Dany is mostly lead singer and guitarist and she plays a PSR guitar.
I usually do not whine about stops. I think it is up to the reactor to stop anywhere he/she wants, even in solos. But I agree, this was a bit too much.

Since this is the prologue to their concept album, Queen of the Murder Scene. In the album, Pau plays the “good” person inside the murderer(played by Dany). Dany sings at the end to signify the awakening of “The Queen.”
qual a historia desse album? tem como me dizer um resuminho?
Breakdown is 🔥🔥🔥
The "cohesiveness" comes from the fact that once the basic melody and lyrics are written on piano, all three of them arrange the music together, a process they've used since they first learned how to songwrite in 2013-14 under the guidance of Ale's bass teacher, Pablo González Sarre.
Best female band in the world..
Check out digital tour bus. Each of the ladies does a gear breakdown. Dany goes through her pedal board and how she adds to the sound (octaves)
Dany does most of the songs, they all participate in the writing, each wirites the part for thier instrament.
Ale🎸🎤+ Pau🥁🎤+ Dany🎤🎸 Villarreal three talented Mexican sisters !!!🎵ole ole ole oleeee Warning Warning🎵¡¡¡ Greetings from Argentina
The Warning does use backing tracks. I’ve seen them 3 times what a band live.
My second favorite band is Nemophila give them a go around.
They enjoy they performance because they full dominate their instruments and their "cohesion" so when they plays, they just ejoys.
Dany (guitar) is the lead vocalist most of the time, but Pau (the drummer) is the lead vocalist sometimes 🙂 All three of them sing.
I will have to check it out!
No extra guitar tracks,Dani (the lead singer) she plays the rhythm and lead which she controls with her pedals,
Dude! Are you really an audio engineer?! The drummer is using a Shure WBH54T Supercardioid condenser mic. A VERY common mic for this purpose. You don't get much "bleed" from these which is why they are so common, but I guess you don't know that.
Ale ( bassist and mega cool stage presence) rarely lead sings, but I suspect that will not stay that way.
I know she splits the output from her guitar into two channels and adds sustain to one channel... and other effects. They speak English without an accent when they want to. As someone who does speak more than one language --that blows my mind when someone can do that. They can pass for native English speakers.
You were right it is 1/2 time as mentioned by professional musicians who have reacted to their music.
From what I've heard and read, Danny uses no backing guitar stems. It's all her through her Kemper profiler live. Also Ale really fills the sound out with her bass.
it is not necessary to keep stopping the song, I can't handle it, sorry I won't be back
I'm also leaning in that direction, but I'll give him a couple of more songs to see.
The Mexican goddesses of rock
The next legit super group
Goaded reaction!
Please react to Dream Walkin by Joe Shelley.
You made a comment about her low register. Check out Diana Ankudinova.
Not going to give to much away… but Wednesday’s might just interest you
Eating a lot of HUMBLE PIE would not Harm. Park that EGO. Bit of reseach will save us a lot of crooked toes.
The breakdown was double time
For some reason I always flip half time and double time haha
I thought in this reaction your approach would be different, I was wrong.
Way too many breaks. Plus he should go back 10 seconds before unpausing
They are border town kids it's commend to be bilingual.
I get you exist to react to the song but let the song run more than 10 seconds before you comment. Way too many interruptions.
Glad you like them, but way too many interruptions. Almost painful to watch. And no, you don’t have to stop it that much for copyright.
And no comment on that incredible belt by Dany at the end…👎.
Let along COMPOSE awesome lyric in a second language.
I applaud your enthusiasm, but do your reactions have to break the song apart? Aside from audio engineering, there is an actual song to react to.
I agree, way less breaks would be nice, and at least go back 10 seconds before unpausing
I’ve seen reactors play the entire song without interruption and critique at the end without copyright crap. He just likes to hear his own voice.
Please listen the same song but " "Dust to dust" LunarioCDMX
There are way too many stops. Each time, you "assume" this or that. Maybe a little research prior could eliminate most of that. In addition, you would also learn that most all of your assumptions were wrong. It is a reaction video... watch it and react. I, too, will not be back.
Bran Dailor plays and sings drums to much more complicated songs. Stop simping lol.
Literally stopping every 20 seconds , are you serious?
Yeah, frak this. FFS, shut up. I'm out
I usually do not whine about stops. I think it is up to the reactor to stop anywhere he/she wants, even in solos. But I agree, this was a bit too much.
Oh shut up
More listening less talking ! Stopping every 5 seconds is NOT a good reactor.
