This song is my kryptonite, I break down every time when I hear this song by Pau... Song about addiction, well, I know that well, I Was ONE, now 7+ years sober and counting. ⚡Viva The WARNING⚡ NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut/TWA 🤘😎🤘.
This song was written by Pau when she was 12. It is from their first album and has been a fan tear-jerker favorite forever. It is about addiction. They hardly ever play this song. This concert was a kickstarter reward for those who helped pay for their third album. It was supposed to happen in 2021, but got delayed due to the pandemic.
When Pau plays and sings with her eyes closed for 95% of the song, you know that you're going to have to go searching aorund on the floor for your heart.
"I surrender in my defeat!" One of the most haunting and soul searing songs about addiction I’ve ever heard. Perfectly captures the helplessness, isolation, and self loathing when you’re in the throes of it. And Pau was 13 when she wrote it? GTFO with that. For real.
Hi. This song in Dakota Bar, from 2017, with Pau playing the piano with tremendous passion at 15 years old and with the accompaniment of Dany's guitar and the voices... ufff, crying guaranteed. If you can, look at that version, it is unique. 🤘⚡🤘⚡🤘⚡
She gets me every time being in recovery and sober 15yrs the line "I surrender in my defeat" kills me every time. I love watching how proud Dany looks listening to her sisters amazing performance. Thank you for a great reaction. 🔥⚡
Yes it seems many people who are recovering or who have recovered find this song very relatable which is why it's just so wild that Pau wrote it as a sober (though oddly gifted!) 13 year old about a person and a condition she really had no direct knowledge about. Her imagination of our, the human, condition, is so big hearted and open; I think it eclipses her drumming and her singing in rarity and value, and that is really saying something.
@@Biomirth She's a very empathetic person, and apparently always has been. She can slip into another person's shoes and understand them with such ease it's absolutely astonishing, and enables her song-writing as much as any other skill.
You absolutely have to watch "Breath" with us. Pau also sings this song alone and on the piano. The special thing about it is that Pau never sings this song live, because it is too personal for her. But for the band's 10th anniversary and in front of 8000 people, she did it. It was great and very moving for everyone. Be sure to turn on the subtitles, because Pau also has something to say. ua-cam.com/video/7wrsU7Z7gD0/v-deo.htmlsi=ze8tSvFpF9fAx5Mf
This show was during their 1st European tour. They added the acoustic part at the last minute. Daisy Pepper a famous UK bass player is good friends with the girls, she has traveled to the US a number of times to see Warning shows. Well Dany had not brought an acoustic guitar with her so she borrowed one from Daisy. If you look close you see Daisey in the front row of the show. Daisy is also famous for her collection of bass and guitars. She has well over 100.
They do a whole band performance of this that is stunning, Dany's electric guitar support and bg vocals, beautiful, Ale animated and vibing, Pau amazing of course: "Black Holes - Live @ Dakota Bar".
That performance back then was the first I ever heard of them. I will not forget how in awe I was. That same night I had bought all their music from their website then. Never stopped listening ever since.

A song about addiction written by Pau at age 13. She is a Musical Genius. This song is not about any of them or their family but was a story Pau read and adapted to this song. In one of their many documentaries, they said they read a lot of media.
Great Reaction. The two best versions for me is the Dakota Bar in 2017. And at the Pepsi Center (Fan cam) 2023 10th Anniversary with an oricastra with Breathe after then Enter Sandman are so amazing. I've heard that Show will be released sometime but when is the question. "Please hurry" 🎉🎉 The Warning 🔥🔥🔥

Absolutely beautiful song written by a pre-teen about addition and performed beautifully by the oh so talented Paulina. This entire private show is phenomenal. This is the acoustic show. They also did a Private UK show at Bush Hall in London (full on Electric) that is phenomenal as well...though it is an hour and 25 minutes long. You shall never run out of Warning music Mrs. R. I lost my older brother 4 years ago to alcohol addiction you never get over it or closure as they say. You just deal with it and soldier on. Sorry for your loss
You can get another glimpse of what can Pau do with a keyboard if you react to her rendition of "Creep", she learned it in about 4 hours out of an Instagram challenge. You'll love it for sure. Cheers from Buenos Aires!!!
This is the infamous show where cell phone recording was prohibited by the organizers. For this reason I pretend that it never existed. Anyhow, The Warning put on a magnificent show. Greate reaction Mrs. Realistic. Black Holes is a masterpiece!
Yeah, I teared up a little on this one, but did you see the look of pride on Dani when the song started? Oh, they love each other so much. It's wonderful 🥰
Ah, yes. The Montreal acoustic show when Ale was sick I believe. I watch that from time to time when I need a TW fix and a good laugh. Black holes is a tear inducing performance in all versions but the one at the Dakota Bar has something extra special ua-cam.com/video/lM8KeQ_tNQc/v-deo.html. Lost a good friend of mine to addiction and always wondered how he spend his last few years after cutting ties with everyone. Heard some things since then and this song fits so well with that it's almost eery. The fact they made this as teens is 🤯
Oh thank you for doing my request Mrs.R! Such a treat to find this reaction waiting. Lost my older brother 4 years ago to alcohol addiction and so wish I had discovered these wonderful ladies while he was still here. He would have loved them as I do. I love Danys look of pride watching her little sister. Priceless!

Wow! How talented and versatile these ladies are. How can I thank you for introducing me to "The Warning"? Hey, don't think about it too soon, it was a rhetorical question 😉🤣. I'm sure you would have many ideas 😊. Well, have a fab weekend 👋✌️
The look of pride and admiration of Dany for Pau between 6:29 to 6:31 is so good. Dany respect Ale and Pau as equals in the band but I've always felt that "Big Sister" warm attitude towards them. Pau is uffff!!!... deep in this song. Good reaction as always.
I missed this reaction so I'm a little late to this one. Pau has a way of sining her songs with such emotion that more often than not, I end up with a lump in my throat or a tear in my eyes. Anyway, I realize now that I missed this reaction because I've been neglecting to subscribe during my visits. Just did the deed!
The Dakota bar version is the real tear jerker. This version isn't so much because while amazing, it doesn't convey the real emotion Pau delivered before. This felt and looked like a simply great performance but the emotions weren't here.
This has been my favorite song from the girls since the day I first heard it. Lots of people say that your favorite The Warning song is the last one you heard. That is false for me
Well done Pau - you just took out Master of Puppets, totally with your own composition and performance. Great choice from your Patreon suggestions Mrs. R - keep up the sterling work.
Nice! My favorite version of this is the Dakota Bar 2018 concert. Dany and Ale jump in correctly at the end on that one. Also from that show is Pau on piano again with *Show Me the Light.* Dany sounds like David Gilmour of Pink Floyd on her solo, While Ale channels Jaco Pastorius bass lines. It's eerie. At some point, you should see Pau play *Escape the Mind* for her classmates at Liceo de Monterrey in June, 2015. She's on piano there, too, with Ale and Dany jumping in at the very end. It's a powerful statement from a 13-year-old. Pau wrote Black Holes at 13 as well. It's a song about the hopelessness of addiction. She is ever the emotive empath...
You should check out the version at the Dakota Bar. Pau is 15 and delivers a very raw, emotional performance and Dany and Ale's vocals at the end are chilling.
Again, another one about to be released from the Pepsi Centre concert last December. With a string section backing them! Fan cams have been phenomenal, the properly mixed performance will be incredible.

I'm sure someone else will also mention that you gotta react to, or just watch the Dakota Bar version, where the three of them perform this awesome number. 🤙💙
I've never considered it a crying song just a beautiful one but this is not that one. You should try this song, on your own time you don't have to do it as a reaction, live at the Dakota bar. So just type in black holes the Dakota bar you don't even have to put the warning and it will come up and you will see it in that one, you will really feel this song. I mean she puts everything into it you see it in her eyes, her body movement, just everything. She doesn't sing this song so much as she becomes this emotion, this energy that's bellowing out to be heard of what it went through and it's still going through and how even though she feels that she's a lost cause and nothing can save her she's trying to save the ones that love her and set them free by telling them not to hold on. She doesn't want to drag them down with her. Danny sings in it, Ale sings in it, Ale plays bass in it, Danny plays guitar - she does harmonics, they have course harmonies, it's a completely different song than what you're seeing here. Their heart and soul is in the Dakota bar version, here they're just trying to remember even how they played the song. I feel very saddened that you saw this version of the song and because of that you have never really heard or felt this song. At one point in the song Danny and Ale coming from their respective left and right side of the stage (Pau is on the left side) come together in the middle, stand shoulder to shoulder both facing the front and start getting into this emotion and energy where they are swaying and moving back and forth identically they lift up their guitar necks raise them up and put them down in unison perfectly and playing their different parts. I've never seen that in any of their videos not even the concerts, it's beautiful. And now I'm starting to cry so I'm going to stop this comment and I don't even cry for this song but man I'm getting emotional now just thinking about it. So it's only four and a half 5 minutes out of your day for you to just watch the thing for yourself you don't have to react to it but don't Rob yourself of this beautiful version of this song just put in black holes the Dakota bar and watch this thing for yourself don't miss that waiting for a patreon request that might not ever come. And in the Muse cover that you saw of them performing in front of a bunch of girls in red and white uniforms and wondered if that was a school or their school, it is their school. You also asked why she went overhanded underhanded overhanded the way she was playing the beginning Riff on the base you thought maybe she couldn't stretch her fingers wide enough from underneath, that's not it at all she was just showing off. I watch all of your reactions of the warning songs and documentaries and everything else if it's the warning do what I've seen it. So please go watch the Dakota bar black holes and then just at the start of one of your next reactions before you start the reaction say something like "someone told me I should go see the Dakota bar version, I did go and watch it" you know just let me know that you did see it. I need to know that you saw, heard, and felt that song for it's full worth value. All the power, the beauty, and the glory. I can't wait to see them on October 9th at the bellwether in Los Angeles it will be the first time ever seeing them.
They are coming to my area in a few weeks but since I had never even heard of them until a few weeks ago I missed a chance to see them in a VIP show before the concert:(
I think they were looking at each other to try and remember when to come in . . Pau was looking , because the others didnt sing it put her off her lines . So when one part didnt happen the memory trigger wasnt there for her next bit . . . . . She caught up obviously . Till next time take care . Bye from New Zealand 💐👍👋🇳🇿twa

Nah, the song that'll cause a breakdown is Breathe. Pau has only performed it once, at the Pepsi Center, and it doesn't have an officially released video recording yet, but hopefully they'll release it soon because they're finally starting to slowly release the Pepsi Center recordings.

They are coming to my area in a few weeks but since I had never even heard of them until a few weeks ago I missed a chance to see them in a VIP show before the concert:(
Oh no! Bummer! 😢
PAU ES INCREÍBLE 🤘😎
My favorite song from them Black holes .Pau is my favorite better of the Warning l know it's not right to have a favorite member from a group your band you like . Paulina is very attractive has a great voice and very attractive & has one incredible personality and she one bad A## Drummer and songwriter.
I can't wait for them to release the video of Black Holes, from the Pepsi Center. It's incredible. Those Pepsi Center videos seem to be moving forward. Hopefully it won't be long.
And Breathe! That one will wreck you watching Pau break down. The audience finished the song, and I'm pretty sure there wasn't a dry eye in the house.
Stunning, right?
Nice!
Rock 🤘😎
🤘🤘🤘🤘
🤘🏻⚡️🔥
Nah, the song that'll cause a breakdown is Breathe. Pau has only performed it once, at the Pepsi Center, and it doesn't have an officially released video recording yet, but hopefully they'll release it soon because they're finally starting to slowly release the Pepsi Center recordings.
🤘⚠️🤘
You can tell they are sisters.
I think Ale was singing too, very high
Check the "Sofar Sounds" set for a five-song acoustic set from KMF. It's AMAZING.
