2:00 OMG. The tears! This is EXACTLY why I loved doing characters at Disney World. Seeing the kids … AND ADULTS…cry when they finally meet Goofy, Tiger, or Launchpad was the best thing my heart has ever experienced. And the Give a Wish kids?…. Don’t get me started. My heart was bursting full by making other’s dreams come true.

I love Universal Studios. I went at a different time. Lunar time looks to be an amazing time to go. This is such a cute video. Jessica is so cute and I felt my eyes get a little wet when she cried. I always love seeing a person who is there for the first time thru their eyes. They are so happy!

I write for TV, and have spent some professional time on the Universal lot - I was first there as a kid in '67 when the Munster's House still looked like the Munster's House! You brought back a lot of memories, and it's fun to see what has changed and what hasn't. They used to have a lifesize King Kong as a drive-thru attraction on the tour (well, the top half of him...) as you passed he threatened the tram, and his breath smelled like bananas!
I live in Vancouver where they shot the BATE'S MOTEL series (near here) For years we had our OWN Psycho House and Bates Motel!
I did a show with Raymond Burr years ago - he had a bungalow on the lot near Hitchcock's when he was doing the IRONSIDE series. He told me he put a cardboard cutout of Hitch' in a window facing the back as a joke - so he could say, 'That's Alfred Hitchcock in Raymond Burr's Rear Window' :)

I was also at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2000. The Dracula actor was already there at the time. I can not believe it! It is the same man! I also filmed the whole thing. I would like to show you the video ;-)

Great video..we would love to go there..the houses were awesome..The Munsters..Bates Motel..The Psycho House were cool..the Burbs House was awesome as well..we love that movie..such a classic!!! Last time the inlaws were there..they saw Tom Ellis..the guy who plays Lucifer in the tv show..which was pretty cool..loving the Jaws area..and we loved seeing Jess so happy..that was great..thanks for sharing!!!

To me, the best attraction at the park here is always the escalator go both down where we get a beautiful view of the area and back up because it gives us a bit of reverse vertigo, ha!

When I took the studio tour in 2015 there was a part of the back lot,I think it was said to be one of the older parts of the lot,that looked a hell of a lot like the town in the first Twilight Zone episode which is the one where they locked up an astronaut for several weeks to see how he'd handle it and he hallucinated being on earth and no one was around,sort of like Omega Man/Last Man on Earth.
I asked the guide but she didn't know,still a lot of interesting stuff there.
BTW you said you wouldn't mind living in CA well....that part of the state has a tendency to catch fire once a year,think I'd rather deal with a hurricane or an earthquake (and I been though a doozy of one of those)
