Cannot wait to get a MSI Claw with thunderbolt 4 EGPU support as well. Just wish the MSI Raider 18 HX series had a 2.5k Mini LED 240/250hz screen option. 😢
Yeah, the Thunderbolt 4 EGPU support provides more options than the XG Mobile, but the XG Mobile is also better in other ways, like the specialized connector with extra PCIE lanes and extra ports it provides. More value in a traditional EGPU with Thunderbolt 4, but more features in XG Mobile, though it costs more.
well based on this video, if you observe the gameplay video behind, it seems VRR is working. I think the framerate is hovering around 35-40 fps but I can't see any tearing. Unlike the other earlier videos of the device where tearing and judder is really obvious. It seems they may have made it work on this later days at CES
Ayaneo Kun and the Ayaneo family are still on top game-handheld
I just want to see a performance test
I'd never go back from the 8.8 inch of the legion go...
It doesn't have vrr tho
Hello, please tell me which laptop to choose between:
HP omen 16 2023 (intel core i5-13420h, rtx 4050 140w, 16 GB ddr5)
Asus tuf gaming a15 2023 (ryzen 7-7735hs, rtx 4050 140w, 16GB ddr5)
Lenovo legion slim 5 16' 2023 (ryzen 5-7640hs, rtx 4050 100w, 16GB ddr5)
Lenovo loq 15' 2023 (intel core i5-13500h, rtx 4050 95w, 16 GB ddr5)
Most of those a great. I'd probably go 1) Legion Slim 5 or 2) Asus TUF A15 out of those options.

Buy the ally instead

Can you test Lenovo log 14700hx
whats the response time on the screen and does it have freesync and vrr
120FPS. As for VRR we do not know yet
@@eros2144 i meant the response time in terms of when you press a button to which the screen reacts in latency
Compare this with lenovo legion go and rog ally.
Ally is better
which game is that at 0:15?
Does it have VRR? Cannot wait once you test it
Nobody seems to know this yet. Many people asked at CES and the staff seemed clueless.
@@AJ_UK_LIVE This is weird. I tried Ally and Go and the difference was huge, so they should be able to at least see it right?

@@AJ_UK_LIVE if you cant tell its meme tech
It seems like none of MSI's laptops or portables have VRR, G-sync, Or Free sync. I would say it's safe to say the MSI Claw does not have VRR.
Same with all these handhelds, they're severely restricted by battery life
That's always been true.
Laptops are worse
Yes, but this is a slightly larger battery. I wouldn't expect more than 2 hours use for typical gaming loads though.
@@GizmoSlipTech on indie games I get at least 6 hours on my steam deck OG just don’t play AAA games
