    Many of these machines have moving pulleys, wheels and belts that have no guards. It is a matter of time before fingers or hands are severed!

    These are the type of wood splitters that are used for retail that come wrapped in plastic, both logs and kindling.Did not realize there are so many different types of wood splitters for logs and lumber off cuts from construction work. Video must have been produced in rural Europe or even Canada.

    LOL. Incredible. Absolutely NONE of these WERE WOOD CHIPPERS. They're log splitters (or variations thereof), not wood chippers. A wood chipper shreds wood into very small pieces for lawn mulch, animal beds, and similar.

    2:10 yeah, no need to wear gloves to protect your hands / you won't have not much longer anyway. And yes, let your child stand close by, and see how foolish you will be injured...

    • @gravelydon7072
      @gravelydon7072 6 років тому

      One thing about gloves and rotating machinery. Don't use them together. You can lose a finger or hand faster with gloves on than without them. Same applies to long sleeve shirts unless they are buttoned at the cuff. Or have solid cuffs and are tight fitting.

      william davidson common practice to use kindling type or small stick as call I Ireland to get the fire going orignited before adding better fuel like coal coke lumber depend on cheap fuel that day Pete burnt lots but price hikes not welcome may be poor insulated but not soft in the head big supplier might change and always a price hike not here granny paid £157 in1955 so 30 years later to expect granny to pay£1.90 is ripping the arse outof her purse

    I dont know why ppl waste there time and money splitting whole trees into tooth picks .... VS me building a stove to take whole trees.
    My tiny stove is 5 gallons and has a 10" door
    My mid stove 16 gall 10 inch door
    My larger stove 55gall has a 14 " door and can take a 12/13" rounds 3 feet long 😆 burns for hours
