So this is the 4th diy video I’ve watched on how to put rhinestone fringe on a Jean jacket. The others used one long spool of individual rhinestones and either sewed them on or glued them, each individual fringe. Either way, they did so much more work than you did and yours looked so much more finished due to the line of two or three stones that are attached that make a sort of border at the top. It’s perfect and I’m doing this not only to a jacket but also to the front pocket of some cut off shorts! I can’t wait!! Thank you so much, you’re a flippin’ genius😀🤩
Also the others say if you turn it inside out and put the washer on gentle you can wash it but idk if I would try, just spot clean it! Febreeze it if ya gotta😂
i am wanting to do this to a "pleather" type jacket and there is no seam across the back like on denim jackets...would that look silly? Also i wonder if that glue would still stick to that type of material...
This is a downmarket copy of a Nudie Cohen suit, it would take the same amount of money and effort to do a serious version and look far better. He literally created that rhinestone fringe for Roy Rogers. He made Elvises gold bling suit after Liberace (who he dressed) referred him. Porter Wagoner. Graham Parsons. Dolly Parton. Anybody in blinged clothes went to Nudie’s for an inconic suit of clothes. Look into it, you should understand 0:02 what an American style this is and that it’s couture, you’re only gonna live once so do it right. Btw, Nudie Cohen was a Ukrainian immigrant who came here penniless. He lived the dream.

no I dont think it would look silly at all!
Love it !! Thank you so much!!
help!! i got that exact glue and rhinestone ribbon, but the glue wont stick at all, what else can i use????
Really? That’s so weird! Are you glueing it to denim?
You make it look beautiful and easy
Thank you!
Where can I find the roll of rhinestones
I got mine from hobby lobby in the fabric section. Also can purchase at michaels!
how would you wash it? most likely by hand but have you washed yours yet? asking cause i just got the supplies
Yes I would just spot treat it or by hand I don’t wear it often enough to need to throw in the washing machine
Those the crystal rhinestone stays after washing the jacket?
Hey! I haven’t washed the jacket but probably wouldn’t recommend, If you can hand wash!
Hi! Did you just use one roll?
Yes one of the larger rolls!
What’s the rhinestone name again from hobby lobby? Going to work on mine (:
It’s called rhinestone ribbon! It’s in the fabric section of hobby lobby where the trim is
Love this thank you for this.
You are welcome!
This is fabulous! Being a Rhinestone Cowboy for halloween!
Heck yah! You’re gonna rock it!
Are the rhinestones sparkly or dull? Debating on whether I should buy some online or at hobby lobby.
It’s actual metal cut and painted silver so it appears like it’s a shiny rhinestone!
What kind of glue is this
It’s called E6000 glue! Specifically for fabrics!
@@LaurenRoseThompson Hi, how long does the glue take to dry?
Love!!!
I heard the glue is dangerous and it’s contaminated but it’s recommended to use in empty space ear it avoid it.
Oh wow I’ve never heard that but good to know! I’ve used it for multiple Projects and have never had an issue but will keep that in mind! Thank you!
I love it
Made this for my 6 yr old with lace fringe and a rhinestone on the collar! SO NANY COMPLIMENTS ....so cute
