Thank u for taking so much time out to show us the AFTER ... it’s frustrating when u watch an entire tutorial and get to only see TWO SECONDS of the finished project (This esp helps ur undecided on trying the project) I love love love when u go do ur outside slowmos!!! #LIFE!💃🏽
What size trim did you use? I see the link you have is for 3mm... I have 3mm trim and it doesn’t seem like the stones are big enough to be noticed on a jacket. 🤔
I am super excited to make this for a Western themed gala I am going to next month. Thank you SO much for the heads up about the black E6000... I made sure to buy the clear one!
Yes black and I think white too. You can make any color you wish my mixing acrylic paint into it. Silver and gold mixes are used a lot in jewelry making looks like metal ✨
I am SO doing this! I'm headed to ThredUp right now for the jacket and then to JoAnn's for the rest. And, thank you, Orly, for these amazing DIYs. I've done the striped glitter pumps, I wear my gorgeous blanket scarf as a skirt, I have done the crystal embellishments on my ankle boots and I also did the amazing fringe skirt and wore it to a work function this past week. I felt like a million bucks with all the compliments I received on that skirt. I was also told by a few of my coworkers that I have the "coolest look in the office" which I take pride in since I am...um...how do you say...AN OLD LADY! But I don't care! Your DIYs make me look (and feel!) young, hip and trendy! Thank you so much!!
I am SO doing this!!!!!! I have a white jean jacket! So glad I didn't give it away! Can't wait!!! Next trip to the fabric store WOOHOO!!! IM GETTING SOME BLING!!! My sister gives me a hard time about my sparkles. "Diamonds" 😁 Sooooo excited!!!
I bought black E6000 by accident too once! I also didn’t notice until I was about to use it, I was so bummed! Awesome jacket I have a jean jacket that I don’t wear anymore this would be great for that.
Yes, the crystals did make it look too new, and it definitely needs some bleached areas around the bits that would naturally wear thin, and lose the dye. I would use less crystals, but it's definitely a statement piece of clothing, that's for sure!! Edit: some different sized gems might look good too!
I’m going to a concert this weekend and I remembered your video. I rushed out and bought a jean jacket. I just completed it. It is the cutest thing ever. I can’t wait to wear it. Thanks!
Yessss Orly, my jacket is longer and I added dark demin to it for the two tone affect, and now I think I will be adding the crystals to it too, lovin it. Thanks Sis. I love being different 😍💗
My very favorite part of your videos is your little rant at the beginning!!! It’s such a reflection of who you are and let’s us know you forget, get wrong supplies and face roadblocks. Thanks so much for sharing your creativity ❤️
I did the same thing Orly with the E6000. When I got ready to do a project that is when I realized I had black rather than clear. As you said, "I was so pissed," lol. Who knew! The jacket came out great. I bet it really looks amazing with the graffiti.
I made that same E6000 Black mistake once myself! I'm SO glad I was paying attention when I opened that tube of glue because I was using some white fabric that day.
Love this. It looks so good. It makes me think of Brandi talking on momhood about matching denim jackets for her and milly and how fun it would be to do that on a kids jacket too.
Hi Orly, I made this jacket and it came out BEAUTIFUL. I noticed when I wore it some of the crystals popped out of the trim. Can you recommend something to keep that from happening?
@@andreasharp2135 that's what I think. That's why I was asking because I was thinking on getting bigger ones. Maybe she she said that because they are cheaper on Amazon.
Also I'm not gonna lie, yours looks better than the one that inspired it. I love the trim you used, has almost like a more expensive feeling vibe. And speaking of expensive, I clicked the Amazon link for the trim and I was BLOWN AWAY at how inexpensive it was 🙌
I had a jacket I designed similar to this on my denim brand website the crystals always looks visually appealing to the eye against the denim..Great job looks great!
I had this denim jacket that I embroidered with flowers. I guess I'm going to add pearls instead of crystals for a vintage look. Thanks for the idea. A big fan here.
Gorgeous jacket Orly! It can done as blingy as you want. I love the distressing technique. What about fabric tack glue instead of E6000? Do you think that would be OK?
Heavy grit sand paper, a small cheese grater, or a small wire brush are all very helpful with distressing denim. You can get most of that at the dollar tree.
I’m your people... love ur brilliance! I did ur curtains mama!!! They were so easy and I went with the ripped/raw look. I live by the beach and I wanted that laid back vibe. Thank you for showing us how to do the rods too. So helpful! And really, flippin black E6000!? I had no idea either!! You are an icon sis.
As soon as I saw there was a new video from you, I couldn’t have clicked on it quicker. Haha. I personally have never been a “rhinestone” person, but I ADORE this... So much. I recently got (a couple months ago) a pair of rhinestone military style boots, and they make me feel so fancy while still kinda giving me my grunge fantasy at the same time. I would totally wear this jacket with them with NO SHAME.
I thought it was a pregnancy test you held in your hands at the beginning of the video
HAHAHAHA!!
Exactly my thought !
I thought this too 🤣🤣🤣
@@wishiknew3995 So did I... with that; "Oh S***, not now!" look on her face *hahaha
Same
I've been gathering things to make my 'perfect jacket' for years now. You just made me excited to build it! I think I'm finally ready!
Black or Black AB crystals on black denim sounds tempting to try. Another fabulous DIY!
Hi Orly great video as usual could you tell me the inspiration diy channel you saw it on I would like to check it out. Thanks
I like the way you explain things. Thanks!
Hello, Love the denim jacket. It matches your sparkling personality

I loooovvvv3 this. Definitely doing a mommy and me for my daughter and I
And ‘me’. Not I.
What size trim did you use? I see the link you have is for 3mm... I have 3mm trim and it doesn’t seem like the stones are big enough to be noticed on a jacket. 🤔
Wow... I love this.. I might do this to my white demin jacket..!
Plz make a diy on sequin fringe top or dress
I am super excited to make this for a Western themed gala I am going to next month. Thank you SO much for the heads up about the black E6000... I made sure to buy the clear one!

Inspired! I might do this on a black jacket with black crystals
I just thrifted a black denim jacket (and I have a white one too) I'm going to use it for this project!
Too cute! I'll try to do mines with some colored crystals. I love it!
My people❤️❤️❤️❤️ my tribe!!! Love you Orly!
Love it!
Great job, what size are the rhinestones?
love the chocolate brown hair!!!!
thanks!!
Denim and sparkles - what more do you need? Love this look!
I absolutely live for your videos....you have taught me so much. I watch your videos daily. I keep them playing in the background when I create.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this one! Thanks!
Looks beautiful 😍👌 Thank you for the tips!

Your right it does need more distressing. Their isn’t enough contrast and the rhinestones make it look a lot newer.

Can I just say...I LOVE THE WAY YOU DO YOUR TUTORIALS!! All the info, great photography, witty, but no blathering on and on. Love watching you!
thank you so much!
Love the crystals
I’m going to a concert this weekend and I remembered your video. I rushed out and bought a jean jacket. I just completed it. It is the cutest thing ever. I can’t wait to wear it. Thanks!
I love how came out really nice. I gotta do this on my jacket
This was a beautiful jacket
I guess the black is actually good for the camera so everyone can see exactly where you put it lol
you could also use more crystals to hang off the jacket too- x
I LOVE this! Thanks for showing us how.
OMG! I literally did this very same thing, good to know now after the fact that E-6000 comes in black, def using it but... need clear!
I love this project!!
Cinched at the waist or shedded crop. Gorgeous.
Yessss Orly, my jacket is longer and I added dark demin to it for the two tone affect, and now I think I will be adding the crystals to it too, lovin it. Thanks Sis. I love being different 😍💗

Orly
How about Fabric-tac ?? I’m in LOVE with it !!! Totally out of E6000 at the moment .
No, fabritac is acetone based and won't work on the metal
Beautiful jacket! How would you wash it?
Once again killing it! All the best Orly!
I made that same E6000 Black mistake once myself! I'm SO glad I was paying attention when I opened that tube of glue because I was using some white fabric that day.
Hey Orly! Great job! Could you do a black denim one for us?? PLEASE xxxxxxxx

Wow another great diy. I just ordered crystals to try this 😘
What size did you buy ? 3mm like she said to get or bigger ?
I got the 3mm but they too small so I will order bigger
2mm and they are tiny
