SIDE NOTE that I forgot to cover in the video. You could wear another classes armor if you just want the stats. IE - Champions wearing Banded gear and Clerics wearing Cloth gear. The Wizards and Rogues get higher damage stats from their armor so if you're looking for more damage in the early game (as a champion or cleric) you can definitely put on another classes armor for the stat increases. Once you hit lvl 15+ I would suggest only wearing your armor type so you can get the skill bonuses
Thanks for the video. Tough to find content for this game! Any idea what to do with the 3 keys you get in the first dungeon? For that matter the book captain laurent gives you as well as how to use the note for the barkeep gal? Cant find any info or how to use them at all!
I've had the note disappear on some characters, but to my knowledge and the book and note do nothing. And I believe the 3 keys will come into play in the far future. After the last 3 announced Dungeons are released.
Once I have a character hit level 15+ I sell everything except for Legendary and Eternal gear. I will sell Legendary gear if it is worth 10+ gold, but I always Salvage Eternal gear. Pre-Level 15 characters I will sell everything that I don't need. I don't see a reason to salvage the lower rarities. Get that gold.
I've been trying out going against the grain by building a bow wielding wizard and stacking range power exclusively. It seems to even out the range and spell power so far, so it's definitely sub optimal but quite fun and challenging.
@Harrington Martin definitely an interesting strategy. When you get higher levels you're going to want to focus Spell Power on all your gear. I barely use my auto attack as a wizard and just blast everything with FIRE. I'm almost done farming the Elite Sets in Icy Depths.
@aFewBitsShort well if you're using the Tier 3 sets from Ragewind the champion gets the best dps. Other than that the Rogue is by far the easiest. Between stealth and Shadow Cloak, the rogues get away with a lot. I always really enjoyed Wizards though.

Most of this still applies to how you can play the game. The menus and item stat windows will look different, but otherwise I think it's the relatively the same.
Thanks man, just started playing this game. It is so fun, but REAAAAAAAAAALLY feels like a multiplayer game to me. Yet I can never find anyone to play with boooo.
I think a good area to farm gold is in the Crypt of Horrors. The Sewer floor (I show this area in my XP farming video). If you get to that floor and kill all the mobs/loot all the things you can make a pretty penny, just be sure to STOP when you kill Sludge. (The mobs are all rats and zombies so you shouldnt have a hard time) Kill Sludge and go to town. Sell everything you want to sell and then reload the dungeon and repeat. You can farm up Gold and XP pretty quickly.
@@chonky4841 thank you.. I appreciate it. Yeah I was having a hard time to decide to sell or salvage. But everything cost gold. Lol.. thx for replying. And the video was very helpful also.. I'm liking the game. I'm glad that last patch fixed alot of issues on ps5. I quit playing because of it. But back on it now and everything running smooth. Thx again. Take care....
@@chonky4841 a friend of mine plays rogue and im a champion my dps was good until nightmare, is my gear just crap? or can't the champion at least keep up a bit with the rogue
@@ruthnik The Rogue does the most damage out of all classes, hands down. The only class who can almost keep up is the Wizard. Your gear might need upgrading, but I can tell you right now that the Rogue will out dps you.
@@ruthnik that's how it is with the Wizard as well. Once you guys level up a bit more the enemies will get even tankier and the rogue will rely on you more. Clerics and Champions are at the bottom of the dps output, but they're incredibly durable. And I think Upheaval is one of the hardest hitting AOE moves in the game if that helps.
Glad to see someone making content for this game!

Thank You for the guide! We just started on Xbox after Mythforce.
Thank you very much for the 200th like :)

How do you know when to sell vs salvage?

Me too :) I've definitely gotten hours of enjoyment so far

@Harrington Martin I really respect the "away from the norm" build, though. That's awesome :)
What's the best class for solo play in 2024?

Thanks for this, how do you balance selling and salvaging gear?

Is all of this still Valid for the updated versions of the game? Xbox comes out in like 8 days, super excited :)

I think itd be great if they could work out crossplay. Or get the game onto other consoles besides PS4 and 5

@@jasoncochran7776 yea ive heard that the consoles can be a bit buggy. Good luck on your Dungeons and if you have any questions feel free to hit me up
In Dungeons of Sundaria can i get unlimited Heroism levels
No, there is a level cap around level 1000. I think its 1015
can the champion actually do good dmg with 2h or 2x1h weapons?
The Champions best dps is going to come from 2H weapons. 1H&S is geared more for enemy CC and damage mitigation through shield throw.
