In the small town of Hawkins Indiana, a lot of strange things are happening. Like, very strange things. Follow the adventures of a bunch of kids trying to find their friend Will who disappeared into the mysterious realm known as the Upside Down. Also watch as Eggos become a cultural phenomenon for the first time in over 2 decades, thanks to a superpowered girl named Eleven. Netflix, you've done it again!

Jimmy Lol, was watching it last night, got to episode 2, and had to turn it off - awesome concepts, and series but the characters are as likeable as coffee stain and watered dunk hot beer. The robot-alien is super adorbs though.

I hope your patience is fantastic. I made it through the first half of season one and it was nothing like anything they mentioned here. It was slow, lame, etc. I gave up. It's just not for me. In my opinion it completely sucked. If you can't grab my attention within the first few episodes, I'm not doing it. I'm moving on to something else.
It's all on Netflix, which means that watching it us super easy, barely an inconvenience.

She was killed off to make the stakes go higher and to make it actually seem like everyone is in danger. It works because she's the innocent relatable best friend in the show and of all people she doesn't deserve to get killed off.

It’s pretty cool how I actually perceive this as two characters, even if the biggest difference is just glasses. Whoever came up with this idea to begin with stumbled onto a very interesting and entertaining idea. It’s funny how almost any show can be made to sound ridiculous just by describing it a certain way. :)

I love that in the first season it's initially set up that Eleven's nose only bleeds when she uses her power too much or two hard, but that's just abandoned almost immediately in the following seasons and her nose just bleeds every time she uses her power in general now.
