Hey Pierre, I appreciate the shout-out in the vid. In regards to De’Anthony Melton, I think the Hawks and Suns are interesting options. The Hawks don’t own their first this year and they’re always trying to compete. They need guard depth and Melton would fit well next to Bogi off the bench and Atlanta would have to defensive threats on the perimeter with him and Dyson. They’ve been looking to move both Zeller and Capela this year/off-season. Zeller hasn’t played for the Hawks irl and has already been brought up in trade talks to get guard depth. Capela is aging out and while he’s a solid vet and provides rebounding support, the Hawks would seemingly rather flip him. The Suns could use a Capela type of center so a three team deal with Capela to the Suns, Nurkic to the Bulls and Melton to the Hawks would be intriguing. In a smaller deal, Melton for Zeller and a 2nd could work as well! Hope you’re able to see this and we’re all excited to see what’s next!
BREAKING: The Chicago Bulls are involved in another blockbuster trade, sending former All-Star C Nikola Vucevic and G Jevon Carter to the Los Angeles Lakers, in return for G D'Angelo Russell, F/C Christian Wood, and 2x 2025 2nd round picks (LAC & DEN), sources tell 3SPN.
I love the Neemias Queta trade. He's getting some run with Boston so it would be cool to see him get a better opportunity in Chicago. Melton could also fit into Boston really well being a great depth piece so it's not so detrimental when he can't be on the floor.
Media question: Hey Mr Andresen! Timothee from Enormous Baller Brand here! How are you planning to deal with the criticism around the lack of “aura” in the current bulls roster following the departure of Zachary Lavine? Can we expect any new exciting superstar acquisitions such as LiAngelo Ball to this bulls roster to help out with the “aura” problem?
If you want a realistic free agency raise the salary cap and inflation and control every team and do your own realistic signing to your series it makes it so one team doesn’t sign 4 point guards and no centers etc and trade deadline as well make your own trades for every team that could use trades
I love the fit of De'anthony Melton with the bucks, he fits a role off their bench or even starting over Gary Trent jr that they desperately need, they don't have any size but even making a three team trade for Goga Bitadze would make sense because the magic have a good deep guard core already with player like Cole Anthony only getting spot minutes, I'm not sure if that should be the landing place for De'anthony. I think a trade where: The Buck receive De'anthony Melton The bulls receive Goga Bitadze The magic receive Marjon Beauchamp who has had rumours surrounding his future with the bucks in real life recently, and will help with the magics wing depth with Paolo going out to injuries. As well as the bucks sending the Magic Pat Connaughton for salary purposes to make the trade work. I think the magic should also receive a 2nd round pick from the bucks who are willing to give it up for getting off Pat Connaughton's contract which has a player option worth nearly ten million dollars next year as well as buying in on the current roster trying to improve their guard defense. not sure if its a perfect trade especially for the magic but I think it makes sense, loving the series so far P.
Media question: With the recent departure of Nikola Vucevic, it seems the Chicago Bulls have become quite guard heavy. Will this mean that the team will follow the recent small ball trend we've seen around the league, especially from the OKC Thunder? Will we get to see Patrick Williams run the five, and if so what impact do you expect from a change like that?
i had a trade in mind, if spurs find themselves near the play in i figured that this 3 team trade could make sense bulls get: keldon j+ picks spurs get: ingram and theis pels get: vucevic and zach collins bulls make a run for flagg, san Antonio competes for the playoffs and gets the young guys some experience pels get a good starting C rotation by splitting BI and zion
Media question: Mr. Peewee, how does it make you feel as a Chicago guy to see Matas perform at such a high level on certain nights this soon into his NBA career
Pierre if the Lakers as a fan please if theyre making a run for it use the three picks we have and try to upgrade our bench and pg. Love the content brodie long time fan keep grindin b
GM P, Johnny B. Tossingracks from SportsChase Media here. Given the number of 2nd round picks you have received, I wanted to ask you interest in bypassing the standard 2nd round pick rookie deals or 2-ways & instead signing them to long, prove it deals like the Lakers did w/Bronny. With Chicago's need to regain cap flexibility in this youth movement, many feel that having potential gems in the rough emerging while locked in at a discount would be beneficial. Thanks for the time.
Media Question: Mr Andresen after the departure of some long-tenured Bulls players between Vucevic and Lavine is there any reassurance for the current roster to feel comfortable and needed in the roles?
P I wouldn't mind if u bought out a guy like D'Angelo Russell to give more room to the young guards of the future and allow him to try to find a role with a contender
Hey P I think an interesting team for De'anthony Melton could be the Utah Jazz They're not a buying team but is also a team that's never shy about taking a chance on a player and hoping to buy low and sell high. I think a player like De'anthony would fit in well in a Will Hardy type of team And wouldn't take away anything from a young team. Furthermore they've got a nice rotation of bigs that could fit the bulls: John Collins-Is 27 and fits the new looks bulls play style of being a fast pace end to end type of team Walker Kessler-23 year old rim protector that fits the younger timeline of the bulls and has got major potential to be a defensive anchor so the value would need to be higher than others on this list but he Was being shopped around by the jazz in real life in the off-season. Drew Eubanks-The 27 year old that is just a solid big man to have around and has been on young rebuilding teams his whole career (Spurs, blazers and now the jazz) I think these moves could make sense Especially with a guy like Kyle filipowski showing flashes of being good he's most likely gonna slide down to the 5 once Taylor Hendricks comes back making it easier for the jazz to move on from any of these guys
Media Question: Mr. Andresen, after building you rotation and watching your team play, I noticed stretches of the game where you wouldn’t have a single starter on the court. Was this simply an over site or are you looking to allow players like Lonzo Ball and Matas Buzelis an opportunity to run the show in stead of Coby white and Josh Giddey?
I think a deanthony melton buyout isn't a bad option. In the game you would just have to release him, but it would be fine just because it's an expiring deal. This would allow him to sign with one of the teams you mentioned as a good fit for him, even if you don't get the size. It could open up a roster spot and you could try to sign a young big in free agency that could earn an opportunity to get some minutes over wood who probably isn't apart of the future of the team.
just bought the NBA subscription, started watching the Bulls games lead by you, and for the newcomers to the organization, and all the people just starting to pick up NBA basketball, what can we expect from the Bulls in the foreseeable future? and what makes you guys stand out as opposed to the other 29 teams
Media question: Hey Mr. Andresen, recently we've seen Matas Buzelis really step up in some tough games against the Boston Celtics, after the recent trade for Andrew Wiggins and the early season defense leap Patrick Williams has been showing, What can bulls fans expect of his minutes following such impactful games only playing16 minutes a night?
Media question: Mr. Andresen, with Matas Buzelis giving really good production off the bench, have you and coach discussed increasing his role and minutes throughout the season?
Mr. Andresen! Ethan from Enjoy Sports here! It’s no secret that this roster has a lot of talent to sift through. As you guys attempt to figure out rotations and who works where and for what, my question remains this: do you have any plans for sending guys down for development in the g-league? J.J. Redick has gone on record saying how he wants the Lakers to utilize their G-league affiliate similar to how MLB teams use the minors to develop talent. Are there any plans to utilize the Windy City Bulls in the same way to let younger guys who may not be there yet or may not be seeing the court much get some extra run and play in the meantime? Thanks in advance for the answer (and the quality content!)
Hey P, With the large amount of guards on the roster what's the opinion on moving someone like Lonzo Ball to the 3 or 4 with the strong rebounding, high defensive intensity, and versatility he brings? Second Question: What's stopping the team from increasing Matas's role in the rotation? He's been playing with a lot of heart. Playing efficiently and contributing often with the right basketball plays when he's on the court.
Mr Andreson! What a crazy day for your squad. I want to ask about one player in particular. D’Angelo Russell was an underrated piece you got in those 2 trades. As a 10 year solid point guard what is he bringing to your team how can he help. And do you plan on retaining him in the offseason if it’s for the right price.
Wizards might be a good destination for a Pat Williams deadline trade, they lack 3&D Wings on their roster and you could swap him for Tristan Vukcevic and a second or 2 for big man depth and youth at the position, it might not give the team the quality at the position, but combining that with the Goga trade could give you a very balanced and young roster to build from
@@trentp5842 bilal had literally locked up trae and is having a mip season in his 2nd year and although sarr's offense is prob one of the worst, his defense had shown immense potential. theres 0 reason the wizards would wanna trade for a 20+ million dollar forward when they are in a tank race for another forward.
Mr Andresen, we have heard for years that Coby White is a great 6th man type of player. This year, it looks like he may be blossoming into a true lead guard on a playoff team. As you look to rebuild the team, are you considering backcourt players who would work alongside White or do you think of him returning to more of a 6th man role?
Melton for Goga + 2nd is perfect. Slots in nicely as the starting small ball centre, can run with the guards and Matas. Definetely need to look into getting back any value for that Patrick Williams contract given that Matas consistently outperforms in given opportunities. Even another 2nd round pick and an expiring sounds fine. That abrupt ending 😭
Media question: This is JD from the Talkin Sports Podcast. Mr. Andresen, It might be too soon for this but what players are you looking into in the scouting process that you believe will be the best fit for this organization in pairing with your young players you already have?
Media Question: Hello Mr. Andreson, Chris McKinley here from Shooters Network. Could you explain to us why lottery pick Matas Buzelis isn’t cracking the starting lineup despite him outplaying Patrick Williams and your team already having some decent production off the bench?
Media Question: Hi, Mr. Lopez here. First of all, I am from Spain so sorry if there is some kind of mistake in my comment. After trading Lavine and Vucevic, it was assumed that the Bulls are going to start from the beginning, and we have seen games where none of the starters where on court and deep rotations with even players changing positions. It is that a consequence of the roster you have and an attempt of increasing the value of the players or are you trying to figure out what players are a part of the future of the team? To be precise, are some the players of the next good Bulls team already on the team?
MEDIA QUESTION: After these initial trades, are you more inclined to trade Patrick Williams since Andrew Wiggins does a lot of the same things he does but better? Especially since unloading him can open up a starting spot for someone like Ayo, Lonzo, or Matas. Also wanted to give my thoughts on the Melton trade candidates. I feel like since he isn’t in your rotation anyways, you aren’t losing anything by taking a flyer on a Bitadze or Garza. Could be an interesting storyline to mold a guy like that into a more significant role. I also like the Suns deal because you can actually use a guy like Nurkic beyond just this year (like you said, you just need big bodies regardless of how good they are). But I also think you would have to take control of the suns and find a big for them to trade for, perhaps Valanciunas or Isaiah Stewart if you can make the money work.
Pierre - how long is the leash with Patrick Williams? Given that the old regime was the one who drafted him and extended him, what would he have to show this season for him to stick around as a part of this core?
One thing I noticed when playing with the scenario is they have the fouks and hard fouls on ridiculous numbers I can’t even take a layup without somebody tackling me
Both fouls and Hard fouls have lower averages than 2K default roster. The “tackling” animation is dictacted by the body up sensivity, help defense strength, shooting fouls and other sliders. Hard foul tendency only determines Flagrant foul frequency, not “classific” fouls
Hello Mr.Andresen. This Bulls team has looked fairly good in the small sample size we've seen of them but in an increasingly star dominated league, it feels like it's missing it's X-Factor. A reliable scorer who'll get who 20-25 points and allow the depth of the team to have off nights and still contribute to winning. Do you envision using this teams impressive depth to try and package some of these solid role players/second options as well as draft capital to go get a star or is there another route you envision making this team a serious contender via a different method. (Also if you do want to try and trade for a star level player, I think a team like Charlotte or Sacramento would make sense, at least in real life, as they have 2 great players (Ball + Miller and Sabonis + Fox respectively) with a shaky supporting cast, having done relatively little with their talent despite on paper looking like serious contenders. It could make sense of them to trade their secondary star for higher level supporting pieces giving them a more spread out team)
Is there a world where melton goes to the Celtics for one of there backup bigs. They have got neemy, kornet, KP, Al horford and even Xavier Tillman that can all do serviceable centre mins meanwhile their guards off of the bench are Payton P, a 2nd yr springer, drew Peterson, jd davison and maybe hauser and Baylor playing down a position. Idk the specifics but there may be potential there.
U might need to upgrade Christian woods stats because it’s hard to replicate his ability to look really good on bad teams and really bad on good teams in a video game
I think if you’re going to trade with the magic it has to really make sense on the magic’s side. We have a really close-strong group who are all tryna push for playoffs and beyond. I know 2k sims have a tendency to break up the magic core (not saying goga is a core player) But we seem to value all our players highly. The only way I see us making trades js if it’s beneficial for us. I know goga is seen as a fringe player but typically WCJ isn’t the most healthy of players so he does get rotation minutes, where as we have a young guard core so I don’t think we’d add an extra body in there taking away minutes from anthony black or others.
Hey Pierre, Zario here from CTB gaming network. With the recent arrivals of D’Angelo Russell, Andrew Wiggins, etc, do you see any of these players as possible mentors for members of the projected young core?(Ayo, Buzelis, White,) Additionally, with so much depth at similar positions , what would you project as the long term lineup? Do you see a player like Giddey sliding down to the forward spot to start two scoring guards in White and D’Lo, who might be adverse to coming off the bench for a young player?
what is Pat Will’s shot tendency? It’s rare for any type of roster to have him only shooting 1 or 2 shots a game. Typically he’s averaging mid 10s for me.
I feel like you should go back to playing defense on the last player who shot the ball again. You really get more looks for every player in every different situation instead of being able to switch off.
For everyone else in the comments who do long term sims (past 5 seasons or so), has anyone figured out a solution to the shooting tendencies of star players randomly and drastically decreasing over time? Players will still have high overalls but they hit some seasons played threshold or something and their shot tendency starts going down.
Because you’re so thin at the 5 maybe you could think about running some small ball with P Will at the 5? Would be crazy normally but OKC normalizing irl this year 😂
i think the bitadze trade isnt a bad idea they would lose a good back up big but they have plenty of size on the roster at multiple positions i dont think itd hurt much and theyve just spent a decent amount of money extending a few players so why not free up some money by getting rid of the 3 yr 25 mil goga contract

Both fouls and Hard fouls have lower averages than 2K default roster. The “tackling” animation is dictacted by the body up sensivity, help defense strength, shooting fouls and other sliders. Hard foul tendency only determines Flagrant foul frequency, not “classific” fouls
Celtics have a bunch of centres and no real backup shooting guards. I reckon that’s perfect
P not gonna lie that last possession with Wiggins you had a wide open 3 but you drove in 😭🤦🏻♂️ you were down 4 with like 8 seconds
I’m so tempted to play on these settings for a myleague for realism I just feel like if i go to play online or something imma be trash 😂
Yea I think I like the playing with the last person to shoot on defense more
U might need to upgrade Christian woods stats because it’s hard to replicate his ability to look really good on bad teams and really bad on good teams in a video game
😂😂😂😂
Background music is back LETS GO!
Hey P, which of your 2-way guys (Adama, DJ, or EJ) have stood out to you the most in the g-league?
11:07 crazy ass team lets go
I think if you’re going to trade with the magic it has to really make sense on the magic’s side.
I got no idea if that got my point across but yeah just don’t think it’s a smart deal for the magic in short.
What are your camera settings?
Is it impossible to get a trade deal done with Portland? I know they got some size
Maple Jordan is Shaedon Sharpe
what is Pat Will’s shot tendency? It’s rare for any type of roster to have him only shooting 1 or 2 shots a game. Typically he’s averaging mid 10s for me.
LETS GOOOOOO
Do you know if these sliders fix contracts in offseasons to come
I feel like you should go back to playing defense on the last player who shot the ball again. You really get more looks for every player in every different situation instead of being able to switch off.
27:25 🤣🤣🤣
I was thinking why not nick Richards for melton i think melton can help them alot as a guard defender in place of Vasilije Micić i like that alot
For everyone else in the comments who do long term sims (past 5 seasons or so), has anyone figured out a solution to the shooting tendencies of star players randomly and drastically decreasing over time? Players will still have high overalls but they hit some seasons played threshold or something and their shot tendency starts going down.
Shoutout Jack Turner
Because you’re so thin at the 5 maybe you could think about running some small ball with P Will at the 5? Would be crazy normally but OKC normalizing irl this year 😂
Gotta change DLO # P bulls don’t give out number 1
i think the bitadze trade isnt a bad idea they would lose a good back up big but they have plenty of size on the roster at multiple positions i dont think itd hurt much and theyve just spent a decent amount of money extending a few players so why not free up some money by getting rid of the 3 yr 25 mil goga contract
Go head pick up Goga
Are playing on real player percentage?
@icytangus6683 I think so the sim gaming recommend you play on real player percentage
33:50 Yo PAUSE
Change dlo number please
Goga trade 4 sure
trade melton for luka garza. take a chance on garza cuz he’s been in minny getting no PT for a min now
I don’t like the Lakers trading DLo for Vuc I would’ve done probably Vando
I would have sent Zo to the Lakers if they’re trading DLo
Can we strip that number off Dlo back🫡
