@ Bethany, I wish I could send you some pics of some things I struggle with. I had cancer several yrs ago and had radiation that was centered at my neck but it was also a "bloodstream" pill radiation ... Before that I could organize ANYTHING but the treatment affected my ability to organize and I get even depressed trying. I have three children, 11,4 and 2 and I get so overwhelmed. I would love some directions on getting my ducks in a row. I appreciate, so much, everything you share. For people like myself, it is more than "cool ideas" and hacks, they TRULY help! Thank you, kindly

When you were talking about the window film it made me think about what I did about 26yrs ago when we moved into our house. We have a back door that had a window where the neighbors could look right into our kitchen. I used toothpaste (not gel) and it worked just like that film. Later I took it off and used clear caulking spread around with a toothbrush and it is still on that window today. I love watching your hacks! 🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎

Oh my goodness that curtain rod hack would have been so great in college! Our dorm room had a streetlight that shown straight into our window and the built-in blinds didn’t block the light at all. Having something that could hold a curtain rod and attach to those cinderblock walls would have been a game changer 😂 (🍇)

To stop items from going under the couch cut a pool noodle to the height of the opening and slide it back a few inches or enough so it’s not visible. The thing won’t go all the way under😊

I too have a tiny kitchen... 3 people and it is crowded. The home I live in, my grandfather built in 1964 since the old homestead, right next door is a 3 story, 2 apartment home. Gram said she wanted a smaller home, and he took her literally, ...VERY literally...
The under sink wooden rod is a great idea, I did the tension rod, but it was a mega FAILURE!!!
Love the drawer organizer... I am a scarf COLLECTOR... 😂 but Aldi's had a rather large one which I purchased and placed 3 folded scarves, placed back-to-back in each square, so you can see each one. Best thing I have done for myself to keep all my scarves organized. I still have several leftovers but, finding a smaller one is on my list to add to the drawer.
I also did a privacy film in my bathroom... it faces the rear of the house, and my new neighbors gather in the driveway turnaround which is on my property... not my choice it was written into the deal with the two houses since my grandfather built the home I live in right next to the older homestead. So, I am stuck with the turnaround issue. I just open the window from the top down to let air in during seasons where it is not too hot to do so.
I really loved this this video. Thanks so much, got the link to BeFunky FOR PRINTING LABELS!!! loving it since I have reorganized my kitchen cabinets! I just need suggestions for a couple REALLY DEEP cabinet and drawer. Each on is PERFECTLY SQUARE about 14" W, D, & TALL. The cabinet is too high and I need a step ladder to see exactly what is in there!

I hang my photos the same way, but still have many holes because I change them so often - yikes! I save the few plastic bags that sneak in. I roll them up and use an old Clorox wipes container. Also use the towel hanger for paper towels but under the sink in kitchen and bathrooms. Great video! 💚

I wash my knee highs and trouser socks with my work clothes. My husband does the laundry and would tie pairs together with a tight knit in the middle. Yea, I don’t know what he was thinking.
This year I bought some sock liners. They are so cool but tiny. I broke out a small delicates bag and clipped to my dresser. All the liners, knee highs, and trouser socks go into the bag. To say this is life changing isn’t enough. No more knots! No more missing mates. Definitely try this one!

Great hacks Bethany! I especially like they plastic bag storage! I’m in CT and in my little city, business are no longer allowed to use plastic bags, we have to bring our own and sometimes the stores have paper bags. I sure miss the plastic bags they were great for small trash cans and dirty diapers!

    • @leahrowe847

We have to buy ours @ $.08 ea, which sure adds up, but at least they improved the quality & they're 10x as thick. They're gonna raise the price to $.20 I heard, since it didn't slow consumption like they hoped... what they don't understand is how much we reuse those damn bags. It's highway robbery, even with using cloth ones bc we still want/need those stupid plastic bags sometimes.
I'm thinking about looking on Amazon for a bulk source & taking my own everywhere, if I can find some cheaper 🤔

Bethany this is by far my favorite DT . I was there today and can't believe all the new stuff they got in from the last time I was there. One of the girls told me that they have a big shipment of new things coming in on Friday. The manager was talking and telling other employees that they need to get everything out of the back to get ready for Fridays shipment. I'm going say by Monday or Tuesday the new stuff should be out! Find something new from the Daily Diyer there today for storage and was so excited. I haven't seen any of the regular crew posting it!

I love the grocery store bag storage idea! I will definitely be using this idea but I will put it on my boys room near our changing table, I use the the bags to put poop diapers, and then take to the outside trash can. I had a bag from ulta hanging on the doorknob but it finally broke so I needed a new storage for the bags. I will hanging on the back of the door on the side of a dresser, that we use as our changing table.

You’ve come up with some really clever and unique storage workarounds. I don’t have a linen closet so I watch your hack videos closely to see if you have any suggestions for ways I can store towels. I asked another creator and one of her commenters suggested a CD tower. I had to wonder how thin her towels are 😂. I saw you put 3 side tables together from IKEA and make a corner shelf on a previous video. That may be something that will work for the linens. Keep up the great videos.

🍇 and I don’t save the grocery bags anymore since I have a huge stock right now. I recycle them at the stores but once I get through the current stock I will start saving again.

I love grocery bags for liners in my wastebaskets, now that kids are grown and gone. It takes me a month to fill a 13 gallon trash bag, so it isn’t feasible to purchase them. Grocery bags are also recycled and being reused plus break down much quicker than a trash bag.

I had not idea the stuff DT items could be used for. My favorite from this video : spice rack, plastic bag holder, window cover, paper towels holder, and curtain rod.

As always, I love and appreciate your videos! Looking for hacks to help out my young daughter in law to make her life easier with a 3yr old and a baby on the way ❤ They just told me the other day I'm going to be a Nana again, I'm sooo excited but they just moved 7hrs away so I'm worried they won't have anyone near by to help out when needed. Any suggestions on making life easier with lil ones would be grateful 🙏

I wish I could save plastic bags, but I live in NJ and they stopped providing all plastic bags in stores. I get it, it's good for the envirinment, I just have to remember to bring my own bags when shopping now. By the way, love the hacks. My favorite is using the hanging storage inside a drawer. Dollar Tree has the best deals on organizers and the quality is pretty good for the price.

Did you know that those small sterlite crates if turned one way hold’s DVD’s?? They fit in there perfectly. And if anyone still has CD’s, turn it the other way & the CD holders fit perfectly!

🥭🥥🍍These hacks are brilliant! I love your channel. But Mija, please be careful with the laundry bag in Cooper's room because of the long cord. Plastic bags are the bane of my existence. I always forget my reusable bags and end up with tons of plastic bags that I then never return to the store. Ugh!
