Great video. I love seeing how other Christian parents approach homeschooling and getting ideas for our family. Thank you for sharing your resources!

You mention your husband has maniers, could you make a video about that? That might sound odd but I suffer from dizziness/ off balance and sometimes get bouts of vertigo. Maybe you could talk about how he manages his maniers and what his expiring has been? I’ve been to the doctor and thankfully nothing is ever found (praise God) but my mother suffers from maniers- the doctors said I don’t have that, not sure if it hereditary.
I love your videos. I am a homeschool mom to five, one has graduated already. Your videos encourage me to stick with the basics and be centered in Him. I am always reminded to stay with McGuffey- stay with what works. I love Mott media. ❤❤ I’m not done with the video so I may comment more after.

That’s a great idea. We will do a video. In short, for my husband, it’s hereditary. We had to cut out almost all salt. We make a lot of things from scratch. He also can’t have any caffeine or chocolate. He has to drink 64oz of water a day. And he can’t sweat too much or he has to drink a lot more water. It’s all about keeping hydrated. All his doctors have agreed, no salt is the way to go. It’s hard at first, but the taste buds adjust and he doesn’t need the salt to flavor his food anymore. He actually doesn’t like the salty taste anymore. I hope that helps until we can get a video out 🙏🏻

@@Homeschooling_with_the_Riveras that does help! I have cut caffeine also and have not had any vertigo since, just my normal baseline dizziness/ off balance feeling. I look forward to the video! Anything you can think to share in the video that helps him. Thank you much.

You’re welcome! We know what a struggle it is to manage Meniere’s. It’s been a journey with many ups and downs for us. I hope whatever we can share will help. My husband’s started off gradual and then progressively got worse. If it’s not dealt with early, it gets worse and worse. He’s gone deaf in one ear. So the earlier you can manage, the better in the long run. The salt is an essential to eliminate for long term success.
