The coco turns red because she is a dragon. The deck is top heavy due to needing Exp 6 by lvl2. So having so many EPs and threes is a necessity to facilitate the extra effects. Some modifications I’ve made since posting has been adding a 1/0 lvl2 slayer that also allows you to swap lvls so you can get your experience conditions easier and deal with cards like Mjurran. There’s also a 3/2 Margery that adds CX from grave that I added for more CX assurance. The undaunted heart Shana is a copy of a symphogear card which is an absolute banger profile. Definitely a 3-4 in every deck. That Yuji is an absolute floodgate and helps facilitate the game. It allows the JP list to run multiple advantage combos instead of a finisher. While people will hate on the Coco, I’m of the same mindset as Carmen of PGHWeiss, in EN you cannot play a deck without some sort of finisher. There’s too much random garbage that can randomly blow you up or null and void the Yuji. Looking at budget, you’ll want to look at the Blue stuff. Most of those cards are dirt cheap, even the foils. It would want to have some red in it though for the EP and fumio 3/2 Wilhelmina so most Shana decks aren’t truly budget. It’s definitely a set for those who like the property. Dengeki Bunko gets you the actual finisher for the deck along with some additional tools so keep an eye out for that in Oct and for me to get back into the kitchen
