However it backfired horribly. Time slowed to the point where even a process as simple as blinking felt like it took decades. It's important the 8 hours be restful sleep too. Brain shrinkage has been seen in cases of Fatal Familial Insomnia with symptoms looking like dementia and as the name suggests it is fatal. People go mad before dying because sleep is that important to maintaining brain health.
That is not always so my friend. There are people get 4 hours sleep for years and decades and they in their 80's and 90's so I don't know where you think that will happen for everyone.
