I have lost 68 pounds!! 🤩 At first, a lot of it was WATER WEIGHT, but now I am actually losing fat and putting on muscle 💪 Keep up the great work! Yesterday's eats: chicken, rice and 6 eggs. No dinner. PS I posted my friend's picture yesterday, and someone MESSAGED me saying that eating TAPEWORM EGGS 😳😳😱 would accelerate my progress. They asked me if I had tried it and they could sell me some more. THIS IS HORRIBLE 😲MG I am going to report them 😡 this is so terrible that it should NEVER be mentioned, even uttered, by ANYONE! Why do you have to sacrifice health for health? Sisters must also lose weight healthily and we are only a FIT community here! 😌😌💪💪

This may sound silly, but thank you for putting emphasis on able-bodied in talking about diet and exercise. Disabled people get crap because "just put down the fork and exercise!" is their extent of knowledge. As someone with chronic pain who's doing their best to lose weight, it can get discouraging, but you actually made me smile by reminding people that not everyone can exercise to try and lose weight.

It has changed my life because I am slowly reducing the negative things diabetes and metabolic disorder have done to my body. It's not for everybody, so discuss it with your doctor. Also people with thyroid problems, which is really common, makes it incredibly difficult to lose weight because your metabolism is slow. Some people are just prone to being overweight and being "skinny" does require more effort depending on your genetics, unfairly so. For example, two people can eat the same amount, but only one becomes overweight simply because they're prone to it. People who say its easy to lose weight only think about their own body's conditions.

That's really cool! I didn't know that people where interested in losing weight before the 1940's. I always thought that being overweight was a sign of wealth that only a few could boast about and because of that exclusivity it was seen as something attractive, but maybe it was seen differently for women. Anyways, the decision to not willingly eat tapeworm eggs should come from a place of common sense.

If you are fat and trying to lose weight, doing extremely intensive exercises isn't the greatest idea.
We all have a limited amount of willpower, and by doing extreme diets or extreme exercise, you are burning that willpower. FAST.
If you want to lose weight, start slow. You are already heavier than the average person, so your body will naturally develop muscles by doing less than the others.
Instead of running, walk. Instead of doing an extreme diet, just cut off fast food and sodas. Those are good ways to begin.

One easy way to lose weight is to get smaller plates and bowls. People tend to fill whichever dish they use so you'll naturally eat less if you have smaller dishes. There's been studies that back this up. Dinner plates have gotten bigger and bigger over the years. I remember as a kid our regular dinner plates were small and we'd have big ones for special occasions. Now all dinner plates are gigantic. I use salad plates as my dinner plates.

Don’t buy things that could ruin your diet, either. By just never having those things in your house, it makes it significantly harder to binge eat. I never have sweets or chocolate in my house for example (though I have never struggled with weight gain). The most important thing is to watch the calories and nutrition in the food you eat, its not as simple as cutting out fast food and stereotypically unhealthy foods.
A good way to help cope with this change in diet is pick up hobbies. You shouldn’t eat for the sake of eating when you get bored. Buy yourself a new game, book, etc and remind yourself thats in replacement of those unhealthy foods.

I'm always surprised when these people get admitted for tests right away. The ER in my area would've just diagnosed her with a headache and sent her home with ibuprofen and instructions to follow up with her PCP.
When I started having serious heart problems, the ER kept sending me home saying I was just anxious.
It turned out to be a really serious arrhythmia and when I finally got put on a heart monitor, I was having Torsades de Pointes and a few other dangerous rhythms. Even then, the hospital didn't admit me for further testing, I had to slowly do it outpatient and during that time I had a heart attack. (that was just last month)
By the time I had all the testing done that I needed, my heart had a lot of damage that could have been prevented.

Here's a secret about self discipline. Lets say I eat healthy diet and okay. I go get a Dominoes pizza and eat the whole thing. I take 2 bottles of 8-13oz water into the bathroom and plastic trash bag. I drink half a bottle and assume different positions to throw up, into the bag. Then when i'm done purging and pour it into the toilet. I do this until an adequate amount of pizza is regurgitated and calories reduced. THIS is only in the case you make the mistake of a cheat meal and eat trash once week. Teaches you not to eat cheat meals because it cost money. All the time you wasted earning that junk food and cannot be refunded to you, just stop. Moral is just stop eating junk.

@@sentienttapioca5409 Meth in the 70's was a different chemical produced using actual industrial chemicals by chemists, even the stuff made by cartels was the better version as the cia actually held back some of the customs that would have cut down their supply of good chemicals. It was only after the "war on drugs" that American production ceased and when the cartels finished overthrowing their governments the cia left and their supply was restricted. Since then most meth is made with whatever is to hand and none of it is safe.
Also, interestingly enough, crackheads actually prefer the new formulation as they think it's larger crystals is a sign of purity (tbf it probably is).
