I always thought I was stupid and lazy. But I got the proper diagnosis like Chris did. I’m now going for a masters degree at a top university.
Wow! Good for you! I found out at age 39! I remember hearing Chris say, " I thought everyone else had the problem, but it was me who was the problem." It took years for me to say that, it I did say the same thing. I don't have my masters, but I have my bachelors of science and the only reason why I went was because they told me I wasn't college material. When you were growing up, did you think you were the only one that was different boy I sure did. Did you have trouble in sports? I sure did! What a great success story you have! God bless you! You are an encouragement to me.
Chris Rock-- I will never forget the day my dearly departed. Best friend, Deb called he up & said: "Kay, I have great news for you." "Chris Rock has your illness!" " You're in great company." I don't want to downplay yours, but to me & others, it doesn't seem like you have it. Did they tell you, you have a mild case of it? You have a silver tongue for sure. I'm not glad you have it, I'm just glad Will Smith doesn't have it! If he had it, I would think I was a lost cause! Thanks for going public. I know the likelihood of you seeing this is quite slim. I'm just trying to say Thank you! Also, I totally get the title,
"Everyone hates Chris."
