I like the game and the Jane Foster character, but i would have rather seen someone with a different play style like doctor strange, wanda, or captain marvel. Jane and Thor seem very similar in play style
I have a feeling that cap marvel is going to play a lot like iron man with laser beams if they ever add her

These legacy heroes can wait. We got 2 hawkeyes, 2 thors, i know they’re going to add war machine (2 iron men), and she hulk(2hulks) because they both have shows coming out

They strongly recommend you pay $15 to activate her hero card too. So in reality you’re paying $15 for a reskin with an extra heroic ability.

@@philspencer6887 hero cards only give cosmetics. Don’t be stupid, it has nothing to do with gameplay. Hawkeye and Kate share similar capabilities too but play completely different. This is a ranged focused Thor, which is one of Thor’s weakest parts of his otherwise awesome kit.

I must say I was disappointed, I thought the two Thors would be different from each other just like Clint and Kate are. What I saw was Thor Odinson with a Thor Jane Foster skin!

In my game Mighty Thor would be visibly faster and more agile but would have weaker throws that wouldn’t go as far

Aesthetically, Jane looks incredible. Gameplay wise, she has the same moveset as Thor. I guess they didn't want to go crazy with the budget? I hope She Hulk plays nothing like Hulk.
She has differences here and there but the power attack, ranged (light) and first two heroics are the same, her light combo and heavy seem to be different and her ult is different. Still excited to try her out since thor is fun anyway
I mean she has a little bit of different moves but I know what you mean like I wanted something fresher like a Scarlet Witch Doctor Strange or Captain Marvel she's pretty much the same character as thor
well she is just an echo character.. for anyone who don't know what that is its just a character who is a copy from another that has the same attacks but small differences
Was expecting something similar to Kate and Clint, similar but very different play styles. I would have expected some more differences with Jane, just seems like a better Thor now!!! I imagine She-Hulk would have to play different to the Hulk as she's more normal sized, so they would have to make her more unique. Well you'd think so anyway.
Am just wondering when we're getting another expansion, Black Panther was the last one and that was a while ago now.
@@mnArqal93 as far as I know and read, She Hulk is the next expansion with Ultron being the main villain. (These are from leaks) and then the next after she hulk is a expansion centered around Hydra and the winter soldier
I don't know how to feel about this. I really hope She-Hulk is not similar to this, I genuinely felt hurt seeing how many things were copy pasted, I thought only 2-3 moves would be same, the blast, the hammer throws, etc.
But this? I don't know. :/
Still excited to play her, her Undrjarn seems so fun to use and some of the new moves are cool but I really hope this isn't the direction for any other echoes. Hawkeye Clint and Kate were so different.
Jane is an echo character, as we've seen from the data leaks. The same leakers have confirmed that She-hulk is not an echo, which means that she will have a completely original playstyle, so thankfully I don't think that we need to worry.

I agree, it took them 6 months to come up with a character with 2-3 new moves and everything else is more or less the same? Not even some kind of warzone or boss to come with it? Like come on man
Well she was always going to be similar to Thor since they have similar abilities, plus we still haven't seen her entire skill tree yet and she was confirmed to be the first echo character of the year, so we always knew she would be mostly similar to Thor.

Great job on the cosmetics and overall visual design! Sadly, I'm also disappointed that her moves and skills are pretty similar to Thor's. Then again, the development budget has probably shrunk by a ton, and with the Embracer acquisition leading to uncertainty, I appreciate we're at least getting something more than QoL improvements. If the next update comes in August and brings Clonings Labs and perhaps a new villain sector as well, I'd pretty satisfied, even though I would 100% appreciate the story being continued.
This was a rushed character. The others that are being worked on are not being done the same way.

@@THELOSTSOUL0614 well, Kate was also an echo for Clint, but she played very differently, had different skills, takedowns, emotes etc. I think this is a sign of the smaller budget more than anything else. Hopefully, Embracer will start investing in the game again once the acquisition is finalized.
Look im excited for a new character. But shes not new, you took thor and made slight changes. I am a huge fan of the game and it feels like the devs who are still working dont care about it. Where is Doctor Strange? That woulda been a hit or Wanda? I want this game to get back on its feet but with spiderman still stuck to sony, no crossplay in sight and add a character that quite frankly coulda waited its just disappointing
Maybe we'll get Doctor Strange and Wanda eventually even though it would of been nice if we got the two a week or two before or after the release of Multiverse of Madness in cinemas a while ago

This was a *terrible* war table.
1. The similarities between Thor and Jane were not just shown here and there, but *emphasized*! People do not want to see how the first character in 6 (or 10 for pc and Xbox) months has the same takedowns and melee attacks as the character we’ve already had for almost 2 years! It’s *infuriating*!
2. We barely got to see what’s new about her moveset! Did they even *say* what her support heroic was?! We got - what - the ultimate, ranged combo, a few specializations and a poor explanation of the intrinsic ability? Kate and Clint play almost completely differently but *that* is all we get to see for Jane?
3. Not a single perk shown for her gear. If her base kit is so similar to Thor, then at least the gear perks unique to her should have been explained. Instead, the info is only in the blog post.
4. We didn’t get a single tease or even hint about what’s to come. We already know the next update is cloning labs. Why not give us a bit of gameplay with Jane in there? Or, a tease at the next hero to come? Kate’s war table gave us Hawkeye. Hawkeye gave us Black Panthers helmet. And we knew Spider-Man would be next after Black Panther. Maybe we could get a villain tease instead of a hero one? But no, nothing.

So the difference between Jane and Thor is like a 30 second explanation lol. I'm not mad, glad that after almost a year there's a new global character but I feel sort of cheated that the first real new character for all systems is simply a Thor costume swap, with like 3 different abilities and not a brand new character with their own power set.
Since this is a mission chain I hope this eventually sets up an Asgard expansion and the two Gods of Thunder fight Loki!

Let me just get this straight. The Mighty Thor character add is literally just that a character add like Spider-Man was with now new story missions & enemy added to give the OG players a new challenge other than just a new character to upgrade by playing as her??
I have respect for you guys & how much work you put into this game but c’mon you gave us new story missions with Kate, Hawkeye & BP. Why haven’t you done it with Mighty Thor?? It’s not like she’s a PS4 exclusive like Spider-Man was so you can’t go all out as to not alienate players on other platforms.
That’s the impression I am getting off this deep dive, just a character add & no story to come with it & unless the challenge card is free to access all levels of it without credits to activate it I would of preferred waiting longer to get more out of this.
They said that this is what they’ll be doing from now on in order to get more heroes and villains out more quickly, it was in the blog that said that Jane would be out at the end of the month.

Like you could've said similar to Cap lol but no WS won't be an echo, if anything it will be like a combination of both BW gun combat and combat of Captain America but I don't think he will an echo however now I'm worried about War Machine, I sure hope he is not an echo but rather a more Kate and Clint type of situation which they are not echoes. The first official echo will be Jane.
@@empirezz2728 well no because they're have 2 completely figure styles war machine is alot more heavy arms weapons like minigun, anti air missiles were as Tony was pretty agile and light when it comes to weapons.
Winter soldier and black widow are 2 completely different fighting styles never mind weapons. In the game BW uses dual pistols, her stingers and dual batons is a very agile and quick fighter Were as WS is slower more in line with cap pace ,is always with a rifle , sometimes with a Grenada launcher. Aswell as his enhancement arm .
What's really annoying is they had the Great idea to bring in Undrajarn but didn't use it right. The all purpose of Undrajarn the all weapon is it can form into any weapon, they could have used the double headed flail she has in the comic or even the sword and axe duel combo. But they just made it a hammer with the same moves . What I'm more annoyed by is no Asgard no storyline .no Loki as boss .I expect something like the Black Panther update or Kate bishop update at the least . But nope just a character one. It's wild that players have better ideas than the Devs for this game.
If the want people to spend more on cosmetics they need to have more for us to do . There is no real goal other than states in the game no reward.

This could've been a skin. It's been nearly a year since Black Panther, half a year after Spider-Man for some players, and we just get a Thor clone.
After you proved with Clint and Kate that you could do the same powerset twice with a very different style I had faith for Jane. I guess I was wrong. I imagine it can't be easy to work while Square Enix is selling you and firing your workers or whatever, but this is disappointing. And the way you try to frame it with "Now you can have the creativity of... having 2 thors for raids!!" is very lame.

They definitely reused a bunch of animations but her skills are 100% different, which makes her a great addition imo.

So we are getting a Thor's clone instead one of the uncountable Avengers that ever exist. OK
They had to create a clone character they have lack of funds it the only explanation like even her takedowns are the same I had hopes that this game would last but seeing this I doubt it also they needlessly overpromised by removing out microtransactions like that is the only way for a live service game to survive

I just feel like Black Panther and Hawkeye are the only original people we’ve gotten. Instead we are getting Kate Bishop, Jane Foster, and later She Hulk which are almost replicas of the original people
Hawkeye and Kate Bishop play completely different. But it seems they didn't try nearly as hard with Jane.
Imagine playing on a console other than playstation, having not seen a new character since Clint, and when you finally do, It's just a copy/paste of an already existing character with a new ult and different perks.
In a game where you have to fight hordes of enemies for very little reward and you design 10 minute combos for 1 person encounter...

Instead of working on what's essentially an echo character (Jane copies waayyy to many moves in just this deep dive alone), why not work on more enemies that players can battle? New bosses that we can fight and strategize against? I mean, the character roster is already pretty good but now we have ANOTHER character just to fight more robots with. Boring

@@dg9444 regardless it's obvious things Jane can do that Thor cannot, did we also forget we can customize how abilities work for "EVERY" character via specialty tab in character skills menu
@@TheGamersboy2000 jane literally by definition should not be able to do things Thor cannot, she's wielding his weapon, it'd make no sense that she'd Hage different powers, but her combat and and way she uses her powers should have been very different at least to make the gamplay loop feel different, I'm a thor main, this feels like it'll just be thor again

Looks good. We need proper villains and encounter designs in this game though. The levels are bland af and the avengers rarely feel heroic. Let players save civilians(not beat up those dumb jail containers), do escort missions, protect targets or maybe even stealth like in the movies/comics? So much vast history to pull in from for inspiration. This current update schedule is already getting everyone cranky
The new thor skin/rework looks alright.
Love the new update and her special ability is so OP. Already maxed out her Challenges and now I’m just grinding her mission chain.

We’ll see how it plays out. The idea of Mjolnir orbiting you while you wield a second weapon sounds cool tho. We’ll see how it can be ugraded

Looks great! I'm loving the Thor add-ons. I'd be amazed if we got skins for the Odinson based on Thunderstrike, Ultimate Thor, and Roger Norvell.
The Ultimate Thor wielded the more rectangular mjölnir prior to his "reincarnation" so there wouldn't be any changes to the animations. Even the other two wield a one handed mace and hammer.
Odin is the All Father because in the myth he basically help created everything from ymir , and we already saw that he was The All Father where jane is from, so how is the all mother?

I know right, I tried it as thor and as spiderman, both of them make it through most of the level easily but the boss fight at the end just destroys me everytime

Make sure you have a good iron man on your team, his hulkbuster can block any attack, it's good for blocking her huge shockwave that one shots everyone, although it will be destroyed
This the reason I like DLC being free, dont gotta pay for these lazy broken characters.
I mean, maybe the reason you get lazy broken characters _IS_ because they’re free. Not necessarily for this game because this is the result of a failed game and the team and budget being reduced. But it could’ve worked if done right from the beginning.
@@mrshmuga9 Well that decision is their fault for releasing a broken game n thinking the Marvel name alone was going to carry it. It definitely could've work, but they decided to ignore n divide the community, if you spend money they listen if not they ignore your feedback or ban you.

They clearly don’t have the resources to put in the effort necessary to gain a new audience. They’re just biding their time until someone else finally pulls the plug. Honestly, I’m surprised it lasted past Spider-Man. BP brought a big expansion but didn’t move the needle. SM was a contractual obligation so they had to do that. But I don’t know how they haven’t quit in the time since. Maybe Fem-Thor contractual without us knowing, but I doubt it.
@@mrshmuga9 Nah lol that wont happen, they'll continue to lie about future content to keep buying themselves more time. I really enjoy coming back for the BP expansion, but after finishing it, it was back to the same bs problem that still haven't been fix. Seriously don't understand how they want new players to not only buy the game, but spend money on it too with how it is rn, trying to help friends with the raid is just annoying. Idk Im thinking Jane was probably done already, and they used all this time to work on new content, atleast I hope thats what they did because if they were working on just another Thor for this long.... oof.
It’s a kinda good thing to get a another hero but can we get new missions & locations with it.
