I want to see this game succeed so bad. But honestly constantly throwing AIM robots at us won't help. There was a serious missed opportunity for new enemies like raiders, wasteland psychopaths, SOMETHING OTHER THAN FUCKING AIM ROBOTS.

I don't mind waiting another month if it means they're making this DLC and the next gen version of the game better. That said, it'd be nice if they released a roadmap giving us an idea of upcoming characters, features, modes/challenges, expansions, etc. It'd make me stick to the game more knowing what's to come and when Black Panther and Spider-Man arrive. Both of those will be AMAZING.

Oh, everything is going into the next-gen version I guarantee. It's a big shot in the arm for them if they do it right and they already posted profit on Avengers recently which is a great sign.

I was sitting here joking about how it would be March. Then it actually ended up being March and I’m sort of shocked being that Hawkeye was announced before Kate. I also assumed the silence was then grinding to get this out by around the next wartable. Instead we got another whole ass month with no new mission types that were spoken of in the new year post. Also the fact Cloning labs are still not here or talked about it’s pure insanity.
I’m a huge fan of this game and I still play every week with my friends for long periods of time. I’m rooting for this game so badly but damn...we also didn’t even get a confirmation of the Kree are officially an enemy type.
@Karen I agree, I think they wanna make sure that when the Cloning Labs to come to the Xbox One and PS4 that it doesn't make the game crash or glitch, best to get the updates out first before new content comes to the current gen versions of the game

@@freddiebermudez6103 I'm going to have a guess that CD will release Spider-Man to the PS4 & PS5 versions of the game a few months after Black Panther but with two different endings for the Black Panther DLC, one without Spider-Man and the other with Spider-Man
The Kree won't be an enemy type. They invaded Earth, destroyed everything except the Aimbots and then left. Look forward to fighting the exact same enemies

it's been months and they still haven't done so many iconic skins for the existing characters, let alone MCU suits. I wouldn't get your hopes up that that will be happening anytime soon.
If they added it they would probably add lots of pockets and zippers and a little touch of unimportant garbage to make the suit look garbage just like they do with all other skins they release.

Was hoping for more details on the actual road map. Maybe get some new costumes for the starting heroes. I had a nagging suspicion we'd have to wait weeks for this War Table just to hear that the actual DLC wouldn't be out until a month later. I'm not really amped to fight Maestro since he's gonna most likely play like Abomination. I peeped that we're gonna have to fight Taskmaster again.The Super Adaptoid we got in Kate's mission was basically Taskmaster with a few add-on abilities. We really need more enemy types and villains. Or this game will continue to get shafted.
The scary thing is that those that actually love and are passionate about the game are being labeled haters for thinking logically. This game is on the verge if having its plugged pulled just based off the fact that everyone ignores is that its under the umbrella of Disney. Who are notorious and have a proven track record for pulling the plug on their video game IPS especially "Live service" ones. Seems like no one remember Marvel Heroes, SHSO and Disney Infinity. But let's continue to cut them some slack as the continue to deeper hole for them selves. As some who has been devout to this game since the "Avengers Project" Reveal in E3 2017 it suck to see where this game is at. But lets just hope they can find a way to pull it around some how.

@klaus those types of people are everywhere and are such bane upon the industry. They are a reason devs can get away with weak efforts and laziness. Broken launches and false advertising. Not fixing bugs etc

The game as it is now is bland with repetitive missions, repeated enemies and needs to show us more things if it wants to stay relevant. If it was in this stage in about November I'm sure it would be slightly more popular but this is 6 months after the original release and it's frankly upsetting that it is like it is now. They could have at least given a Black Panther trailer at the end

When Spider-Man comes, Sony should make Avengers a PS+ Game. This would boost it a lot.

They know how bad players wanted new gear and raids. If that was coming you better believe this would have been a 20 minute stream and not under 10 minutes. 😂

Here's what I think: They need to spend the next 4 weeks perfecting this DLC and improving the next gen version. After both have launched, I assume they're moving their focus to Black Panther and Spider-Man (as these are the two confirmed upcoming characters). If so, they should reveal a roadmap that teases when we should expect those characters, what improvements we should expect from the game in general this year, and a general idea of what's next to come. This war table has me excited, but given that it was a basic reveal with another month to go, I think that in the future they should either post these war tables closer the DLC's actual launch, and/or reveal more of what's to come AFTER that DLC. I say this because this war table is good, but we have a whole month to go and that's without any info revealed of what to come after Hawkeye.

Dude they’re trying, remember launch? The game was filled with bugs. They’re taking time to do this right not efficiently. But I’d rather wait and have a polished addition then have it next week and have it be litered with bugs. Things take time to make so just cut them a little slack in that regard

Hey for your information if there putting out a deep dive to explain the character that means he is in the files and he works, their trying to stretch time, to buy time for other content but in turn hurt to content they barely put out
@@darkknight3326 Cutting them a "little slack" is what got us here. We need to hold game developers accountable we cut them a little slack and then they take a mile. I mean another MONTH, for 2-4 hours tops for copy and pasted asset content. I am someone that defended this game devoutly and supported ever aspect of it. Max Power Level, Max Level and Max challenge card every hero, Pre Ordered and On the verge of getting Platinum just needing to the cache trophy. But this is beyond and they deserve every bit of backlash coming their way as harsh as it sound. I'm hyped for Hawkeye and will continue to play but I'm not cutting them slack or making excuse anymore because this game has been nothing more than broken promises at this point and it sucks especially as someone who's been excited for this game ever since we legit only saw the weapons of the avengers back in E3 2017 with The Avengers Project Announcement. We gave them a little slack and now look where we have reached.

Love the free DLC, please work on a Game + at some point so we can replay the main story mission. That’s fun to me. I don’t mind the grind so much but change it up a bit. Can’t wait for Hawkeye but looking forward to Spider-Man for my PS version. Keep plugging away CD, I for one love this game.

Glad to see square pushing on with the game, i personally really like this game despite it's pretty big flaws mainly for me with it's gear and how lackluster it is. That is something that can be fixed by adding more interesting perks and a lot more quanity of gear types and sets we can earn. I hope this game will coninute to get updates i would love to see black panther in game.

I would love to see two new DLC Stories for the Marvel's Avengers Video Game called Operation: Inhumanity and Operation: Kree-Skrull War where it introduces the Fantastic Four, Inhuman Royal Family, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Vision and the Skrulls.
What do you guys think?

@@matt6872 because in the Avengers Game the plot is centered about the Inhumans a race where people got powers from the Terrigen Mist that was inside of the Chimera Hellicarrier as a power source, but when Monica Rampiccini hired the mercenary Taskmaster to stole the Terrigen Crystal to retrieve to her so she can betray the Avengers and SHIELD but as the game plot is it fails, the Terrigen Crystal exploded and mutated and destroyed an entire population on San Francisco transforming the place into a Quarantine Zone blaming the Avengers for the disaster, so that's how the plot of Operation: Inhumanity will take on as the Inhuman Royal Family introduces themselves to the world with the knowledge that Inhumans existed millions of years ago, so the King of Attilan Blacck Bolt declares war on the humans after they discover that A.I.M. have been torturing and experimenting with their people, so it is up to the Avengers to join forces with the Fantastic Four (who is also dealing with this kind of stuff ever since A-Day) to stop Black Bolt and his Inhumans in killing Rampiccini, MODOK and the rest of the humans just to later discover the the rogue Inhuman Maximus is also behind this.
If you've read the My Life as a Weapon series, you will know why this looks so perfect
I agree, they have been working hard no doubt, and having these comic stories together will be awesome.
But people just want things now and now and now I'm sure once all the characters finally come out either the game will survive it or people will come back to it saying it's the greatest game ever made or they'll just pull the whole anthem root and say it's a dead game on arrival doesn't really matter if people have fun playing it then just play the game is made to be played and enjoyed

I'm looking forward to this. I lucked out that I joined the game later. A buddy played it day one and I recently got him back to play with me and he liked a lot of the changes. It made the game far more fun, to him. I really hope they can start increasing the release rate of new characters. I thought it was supposed to be much faster than this.

So they're using heros as sorta of like a new season, like Fortnite or COD. I get that but they are sorta going to have to pony up more than just 1 hero with 1 storyline with like 6 repeatable missions that get old. Doesn't take longer than a week to get that stuff done. Not 2 months

im pretty sure creating a whole character with a unique moveset, a whole new region, a new story, and new missions doesnt take a week. Im not necessarily defending the release schedule, just telling you that wether we like it or not, this is naturally how long this stuff will take to get made.

At most like an hour and 30 one day but the rest like 30-45 minutes. I'm not asking for new heroes a week either. I like the system but just more missions is all. Love the storyline, just more missions when you finish them. More missions to keep making me feel what I'm playing is still new and worth more grind

@@ryancentralgaming9851 this game need AT LEAST a lot of new enemies and bosses, better skins, a lot of new heroes, a few environments and new POIS for every map, new prices for the items, new games mode like a "Civil War mode" pvp, capture the base and steal the flag

This update looks really good. The skins for Hawkeye look really good. But I hope that the missions aren’t all the same. You have a a great concept for the game but the execution should be better. I’m really excited to see what happens in this story and play Hawkeye.
March 18th? Ok, well at least we're getting free DLC! :D This does look fun and I thank the team for making these DLC expansions. I'd rather they take their time and make the quality of the gameplay better. Plus let's not forget that they're mostly working from home due to COVID.

@Karen I'm not hating. I'm just expressing my disappointment for the game i bought at full price at launch that still doesn't work properly or have enough content to be worth that kind of money 6 months later. When i purchase a game i don't expect to have to wait 6 months for it to have content and actually be playable.

Every time I try to give this game a chance it disappoints. 3 months between characters and no new announcements on actual improvements to the game. My god
If I were to be more than generous... the first time was pushed back because of all of the bugs. This second time is probably because of the next-gen versions. There’s no excuse after this.
Looks great! Love that the story is pulling from many comic storylines and looks for him. I personally felt that Kate was a little too plain clothes compared to the other heroes. Even her alternate and dlc costumes. Hawkeye's outfits are looking very diverse.
Is it easy to "start over" in Avengers? I got the PS4 version recently for my PS5 (only 1/3 of the way through main campaign). Want to start over from scratch with the improved graphics.

I really cannot stop playing this amazingly fantastic AAA Superhero team-up video-game titled Marvel's Avengers. There is more story to tell than just one Superhero story.
