Have the Badger Patriot 105, which has been good enough, though I wish the air flow part of the valve was more sensitive. Always good to see how others clean and use theirs. I like your techniques for quickly changing paints. I've never done the backwash technique for mixing and cleaning. Will try it now.

David, glad you like the video. Did you know adjust the sensitivity of the 105 by adjusting the spring and and also by adjusting the tube shank. Definitely give the paint changing and backflushing a try. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Badger introduced the teflon seals and they are solvent proof, never no problems in all of the 35 years that has passed since i bought my Badger #150!!! 😊

I love by Badgers! They may not be the prettiest airbrushes but they are rock solid and Badger customer service is amazing. They have fixed so many of airbrushes quickly and reasonably. My Harder Steenbecks, they are great but their seals are not so good. When I used solvent paints, H&S seals would break often. You can replace the seals on your own with an H&S but it was annoying.

Hello partner, congratulations on your channel, it is very educational. When making the mixture for the airbrush with model air paint, you say that at the beginning it is better to use 50% paint and 50% thinner. What thinner do you use to mix with model air? Thank you

Hey, glad you like the video. On to your question, the thinner I’m using is my own formula. I made a video of it on my channel. The video is called “updated: how to airbrush Vallejo model air”. If you that thinner mixture…it will change your water based acrylic airbrush game. It stops tip drying, it helps the paint lay down smooth, and makes it more resilient.

Excellent video! What type of thinner do you use for your painting?

Glad you like the video! The thinner I use is a mixture I created to help airbrush pure acrylic paints. I have a video on my channel of the mixture.

Lacquer usually 1 to 1.5 ratio of thinners

Hi Mondo, it depends on the lacquer. When I was using Hataka Orange line lacquers, 50/50 was the best mix and gave me fantastic atomization. It really depends on the paint brand.
