the least realistic part about the cable car, is NOT the fact that they had to have already been to the beach to get the cable to lead the beach. its the part where the producers pretend that those 3 have the ability to actually make such a machine in the first place.
@@bpqd2624 the producers don’t try to show that the 3 of them have ability as Hammond sarcastically says they had no help from the Namibian mining engineers, and the reason they have to make the cable car is because the cars aren’t able to get over the terrain they could walk over
It was very nice to see them agreeing and approving eachother, how proud James was as well. And the other side, it's also fun to see them argue. All in all, its fun to see the boys together. They all got a camera presence and got a magical chemistry together
That was just way too scripted. They are vest when director lets them be like they are. Grand tour had problem with this usa style writing for many places. Look at claksons farm ao good and natural

I LOVE when they're building stuff. Especially when they turn their vehicle into "habitable" environments. My favourite non-special episode is from Top Gear and it's when they built the car-powered motorhome train.
The beach buggy cable car always made me wonder if they could get to the beach to build the contraption, why couldn't they get the cars there? And the final build of the moving refuelling station (with the drive up platform) was actually pretty neat. I've also wondered if Lady Petrol is a real thing or something made up for the show - the only thing I can find is an Urban Dictionary entry that says it's a term referring to cheap wine, not a specific brand name or drink.
I'm so happy I found that tv show! Seriously, I didnt know it exists a few weeks before....I think i watch almost everything I could watch! I'm a bit depressed in this moment, and seriously it helps me a LOT! When I'm a bit down, I watch one of them, and I laugh.....tank you so much!
10:32 "That, gentlemen, is a scissor lift." I'm going to be a bit of a James May here and point out that it is, in fact, a vertical lift. Specifically what looks to be a Genie AWP-40S or equivalent which, to be extra nitpicky, isn't rated for outdoor use, nor are any vertical lifts. In order to be approved for outdoor use the EWP needs to be rated for windspeeds of over 12.5m/s or 45km/h. I'll see myself out.
James May looked absolutely terrified on the cable car you could legitimately see the fear in his eyes that was not acting 😂 also I would like to add that I am incredibly happy to see these three together and doing spectacular and top gear a shadow of its former self as far as I'm concerned top gear is trash these three are what made that show great.
Holy moly.... Jeremy saying James did an incredible jo....... 🤔....... i didn't just loose my mind, right, he actually said that!? (Rewind and watched it 5 times, still don't believe it) And BTW.... that ending.... FLAWLESS!
That cable car thing is beyond belief, what would something like that cost & how many professional people would you need to build it for you ?. They so have to make a behind the scenes series for all these specials, but then again, do I really want to know ?. They would have people lining up to throw stacks of money at them for doing nothing more than splicing a bit of old unused footage together, Jeremy could buy another few pubs.
Why is it since watching The Grand Tour I have developed a proclivity for testicular injuries as a form of entertainment? I get the feeling Amazon Prime subscriber status is yet again in my very near future considering my Son inconsiderately moved out of Home and took his with him :-( Well done lads, Well done.

lol that refueling system... "Milf", broken windows... 😂
This trio will never be replaced! Top Gear and The Grand Tour may be over but this Trio is always in our hearts! God speed May, Clarkson, Hammond!
This has to be the greatest trio out there.
The best "..in the world" 🌍
Better then moe Larry and curly? Kk
That’s what she said
never been with two blondes huh?
Second only to my meat and two veg
I had to rewind 4 times to listen to Jezza tell James that he’d done an incredible job…I forgot that moment and it’s still unbelievable.
Because it’s a pub 😏
It was very nice to see them agreeing and approving eachother, how proud James was as well.

Bollocks to that, Jezza actually knowing what he's talking about, building the beach buggy cable cart is unbelievable.
I think the "am I dead?" bit is just a perfect sum up of the entertainment these three have given us over the years.
The fact that the test firing of the Car Cannon blows up the health and safety van is really a metaphor for this whole show.
In reality it wouldn't explode. It was meant to hit the van

At 1:00, James May's RV Pub is glorious. Well done, James! 👏👏👍👍
The American coffee with 1 bean, that's just hilarious to me every time i see it !!
It was one quarter.
I see that every time I go to Starbucks
I don't get it please explain the joke about the 1 coffee bean ty

James's RV looked amazing on the inside.

The African special where they found the source of the Nile was my fav.

Lady Petrol is slang for rosé wine and brummie’s ruin is slang for gin
How to tell if someone has Autism 101.
This comment.
Those are names he made up for the drinks Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond liked.
Shout-out to the engineering company doing all this. 🙏🏼
"Why you've got a drawing of three stroke victims?" I am dead 😂
In the pub RV there was a RNLI collection box. Very British indeed!
This is a brilliant idea. Take your bar with you. must-have when traveling with a company

7:10 Hammond’s reaction was amazing 🤣
The cable car was the best build have ever seen from the Grand tour boys ,,,
Britain's version of the A-Team when building.
"i urinated on them myself" is the best line he has ever said
This is the first time i realize the abreviation of motorway inter lane fueling 😂
They are our generation 3 stoogers and and I love it!!

James’s RV reminds me of that one episode of Phineas and Ferb, where they turn their rental RV into a mobile Truck stop 😂
I love when the crew gets involved it really gives a sense of unscripted realism lol
The best trio in the world.
"I'd knock a star off" lol
Can somebody PLEASE tell UA-cam that making an enjoyable compilation isn't that bloody hard.
It’s some wonderful
Human doing it.
Some say this Trio is good they could build a bridge or even a Spaceshuttle.
I really liked the MILF (Motorway Inter Lane Fuelling) concept... I bet it really appeals to young men.
AM I DEAD? AM I DEAD? No Hammond, we've I mean you've already proven your unkillable.
Jezzer, Hamster and Captain Slowly🤣🤣 I will their shows till the end of time
I like how a lot of these were shorts released a few days earlier, you know they were getting their clips ready. I enjoy the diligence.
I know right, it’s great! *Diligence wagon drag race*
In the sketch of those 3 in James’ camper, Jeremy looks like Roman Abramovich 😂
9:06 This'll probably give a whole new meaning to the phrase "Giving someone the finger."
Joking aside, that air to air refuelling idea for cars sounds impeccable. Why on Earth has that not become a proper thing yet?
Because it exploded?
That scale one actually could have really hurt one of the crew. Like legs off.
But they’re all fine, especially Hammond, who seemed to be the most worried.
backing mazda off he stops right on top of ramp gap then rear bottom of car gets smashed. best hilarious scene yet.

The rv park is literally across the street from my job. Crazy
I like how Jeremy can't talk smack against James because he's in a pub, possibly the only place where Jeremy favours a democracy LMAO
the best part is the Detroit shirt worn by Jeremy.
I already knew it was going to be a pub in James RV before it was shown
The acronym on James' refuelling vehicle... they always manage to slip something silly in when naming things.
Shit stop the goats are eating the tree!
Brilliant
