    Hello! I'm currently reviewing for the board exam this December, if ever it will push through and I have 62 more days to prepare what are the things that should I prioritized? Like, should I give more time to this review material or anything. It's my pleasure to read your answer🥰 (Velez is one of the best school for PT!🤩)

    • @dreaenrera3557
      @dreaenrera3557  2 роки тому +3

      Hi! Hmm..prioritize in reading book reviews and familiarizing lectures. 2 months is still a lot of time so reading a lot of review materials esp those book reviews you think you need more work. Just repeat it until before u finish reading the question, u already know the answer. This helps in PT APPS. And study lectures too. In our time, most questions were new so lectures and familiarizing as many info as u can helped us a lots esp in MES! 😊 hope it helps

    Thank you for the tips! Do you have any way on how to review for MES? What references can I use for practice case based questions? Thank you in advance! :)

    • @dreaenrera3557
      @dreaenrera3557  3 роки тому +5

      For MES, its more of a wild card part of the exam. It can really be random so I would suggest reading a lot of book reviews and in our review center we had what we call "book of tables" which actually helped. But generally for MES, just read a lot and study a lot. The wider scope you know, the better shot you got at MES! For case related questions, book reviews are the way to go. But the KEY IS to always study the rationale. Because they change the questions based on it. Hope that helps!

    can anyone drop info on what a topnotcher's schedule look like? how many hours do they study in a day? thanks

    • @brandonbugtai8346
      @brandonbugtai8346 7 місяців тому

      Hi sorry for the late reply, in my case I dont really track "hours" of study but more of "quality" of study. I rarely reread materials so i tend to try and absorb the contents as much as I can in one read no matter how long it takes. Get to know your study habits, how you memorize things, how you retain info and how you pace yourself then schedule your time around that. In my case, I know that I study really slow, so I allot enough time and then some for me to finish said topic.
      TLDR dont focus on duration, anybody can study the whole day and learn nothing, focus on the quality and get to know your study habits.

    do you think its possible to pass the boards with only 2 months left? do you know anyone who did it? Ive been struggling with my mental health recently and it's been really hard for me to stay focused.

    • @dreaenrera3557
      @dreaenrera3557  3 роки тому +14

      Ofcourse! First and foremost, most of the people during the board exam(at least on our batch) started really studying at the LAST month!! AND some even had the same score as me when the results came out!! I even know of someone who got burnt out last minute, spent like 3 weeks doing nothing saying he'd take it nxt time, BUT passed anyway! I also know of someone who barely sleeps just to study but always ends up failing on exams(was actually called out since his scores were consistently low) BUT passed anyway. Remember, its not the time left thats important. Its how you make use of that time. 2 months is still a long timeee. And also mental breakdown is VERY common during review. Now, i know its worst now. plus u cant really see ur friends and see each other struggle & support each other physically. BUT know that in our time, ppl were crying on hallways too. Sooo YES it is VERY possible to pass in 2 months!

      Hi, ☺️ Actually there are so many reviewers that we consider important. But i remember clearly that we just focused of reviewers that our Review Center told us to focus on. Its a good idea to have a review center so they can guide you on what to focus especially when local board exams sometimes get repetitive hehe. Im sorry i couldnt give you exactly what reviewers are important

    If you will be given 6 months to prepare for your board exam, how will you do it? Tbh i started reading last month but it took mo 1 month to finish 1 subject I think it is because I have a thinking na i have an ample amount of time to take time in understanding per topic.

    • @dreaenrera3557
      @dreaenrera3557  2 роки тому +1

      I prepared for my board exam for 6 months actually and I read as much as I can in the first few months so I can distinguish my study habits that works for me and topics that im poor at. Once I got that it was a lot easier to study and pace myself and study smarter esp in the last 2 months.

      @dreaenrera3557  2 роки тому +2

      Hi Shea, we're trying to remember what reviewers were important but sadly we arent really sure now since its been almost 2 years. But we do clearly remember that we studied heavily on book reviewers that our review center made us focus on. We were at Gold Rank and everything they told us to do help us really pass. And they know how the flow of exams go every year so you should really trust them ☺️

      Hi, Goyala! :) Sure, pwede naman po. Prang magdouble courser po kayu? Okay na okay po. Saktu po kasi 4 years nlng po din yung BS-Physical Therapy ngayun. Hindi kagaya nung sa amin na 5 yr course pa. We study a lot of things po pero more on sa medical things po in terms of sports. Mga sports injuries and how the body(esp muscles and bones) works and heals po after injuries/surgeries. Ang Sports physical therapist po parang isang subspecialty ng PT. so if nag BS sports science kayu mas angat talaga kayu if gustu nyu mag specialize ng SPORTS PT. Sana naka tulong po ako :)

      @@goyalamiradel3764 Sure okay lng po talaga. I enjoy answering questions po naman hehe. Hmm i dont know with other schools po pero for our school you have to start from first yr po talaga. Altho if there are some subj na same na same maybe its ok na hindi na i take but ull have to ask parin sa school. Pero sa pagka alam ko almost all subj kasi ng BS-PT ngayun major na. So very specific sa PT napo. Pero if currently enrolled ka with other course po and then magkuha ng PT courses, im not sure po if pwede atleast sa school namin po. BUT you can always call and ask sa school naman to be sure 😊
