Thanks so much for sharing this adventure we spent many a campfire with family drinking Mormon tea. My family owned and operated a campground in Moab and this reminds me of some of the adventures that we went on in that area. We are planning our next adventures in the local Yuha desert where the Spanish explorers passed through and will use this as inspiration to document our experience. Thank you for sharing and looking forward to your next adventures! 😎
I love Mormon Tea. My dad makes a mean batch!!
Man, this was an amazing video! Thank you for sharing! The music is awesome too! You have me addicted now! The Spanish lore, mystique and the vast natural beauty is so peaceful!
LOL. Good deal. I want to motivate people to go out and explore. Thank you.
Man I love that music....Id love to watch them play....
Bluegrass! 👍🏼✌🏼😁 "The Indian War Whoop!"
I hope your family has an amazing adventure in the Yuha Desert. Sounds like a lot of fun!
The Mormon Tea, Spanish Tea, Brigham Tea,. It has high amounts of Ephedrine, it's actual name is something like Ephedrinous (?) something like that. There is like 3-4 different elevations from like 3500ft ^ Small round 5000ft^ medium bushy 6500^ largest bushes.
I enjoy drinking it. My dad make a good batch of it from time to time.
As a retired truck driver I really enjoyed the old Palmer Brothers Freight truck at the end of the video. I remember them very well in Salt Lake City and in Orem.
Bryce, I also enjoy the old truck. My uncle and I found it a few years ago hidden up a side canyon out in the middle of nowhere. If you don't mind me asking, do you live in the Basin?
another amazing video ...im going through them one by one , such a beautiful country with mysteries all around to fill your mind with wonder . ✅✅
Thank you. I've still never figured out what they were mining in that old shaft. I suspect that shaft will only survive another 20-30 years before it caves in. I suspect it was dug during the early 1900's.
Great video!! Thank you
Thanks Michael. Appreciate the comment.
Beautiful video and music 🎶 too.
Thank you.
Great!
Thanks mom.
Looks like a Spaniards face in that rock in the center at 14 minutes 30 seconds. It’s on the right side of that center rock.
I went back and checked out the video, I see what you mean. I think it is natural, but the next time I am in the area I will hike in there and take a closer look. If it turns out to be anything, I will let you know. Good observation!
Skarn
Very interesting. I just looked it up and Utah has deposits over the mountains in Little Cottonwood Canyon. First time hearing of "Skarn" before. Thank you.
@@LowBudgetExploration Arrastras wouldn't be able to process very hard rock efficiently. They had primitive tools carried by burrows. So I feel they were chasing epithermal golds in sedimentary. Ore that is easily processed. I cannot efficiently mine hard rock at a small scale with modern technology.
I thought you seriously were going to play some hillbillie version of AC/DC's Thunderstruck..lmao
Did you like the music mix?
Is this" mine",,,by the debris,,,a clay mine,...a water hole turned mud,,that you could make pottery from,,,looks like layers of clay you picked up..,,,,...make bowls,pots,...???just a quess,,..pat&family,,,.land o' lakes,wi.
I'm not sure what they were looking for at that mine. It is shale and clay like you said. Perhaps a test pit for uranium back in the day? Thats about all I can think of. I cant tell how deep it goes, very unstable. I'm thinking not very deep.
Couldn't get past the music
Isn’t that what June B. Called the “Woolsey Mine?”
That would be really cool, but this is a totally different mine.
Who’s pick’n the Banj’er? Lol
Most of the music I use I find on UA-cam. I honestly can't remember who that was. I try to find people that are not famous and just regular folks who enjoy making music.
If I ever come across it again, I will let you know who the artist was.
